superblend of animal glandular organs
add this to regular kibble basically as a food topper and according to the instructions. has an extremely meaty aroma and is approved by my vet after showing this to her. she says adding this to the pups' diet is good for mimicking as close to their ancestor's hunting diet as possible (aside from raw feeding, but i find there's too much risk associated with that)

Makes my dog ill.
We went through a period where our puppy was often vomiting or getting an uneasy stomach after meals. I could hear her insides hissing and popping with discomfort. It was a mystery and we figured it was due to general puppy life. Who knows what the get into, right? We then went through a process of elimination of both foods and supplements because we can’t have her living all sick all the time.Sadly, I have concluded that whenever we feed her this product is when she gets ill.I suspected as much initially and tried to get a refund, which this company does not allow. So…we kind of forgot/didn’t realize that it was making her unwell.Today was my final conclusion…this was the only supplement I gave her because I ran out of organ meats for the day so I was trying to balance that…she was sick shortly after her meal with heavy breathing, vomiting and diarrhea. The rest of the meal was no different that her norm.Bummer. We all hate to see our animals sick.

Excellent Supplement - If your pet will eat it...
I have mixed feelings about Gentle Blend's Glandular Organ Powder supplement for pets. We currently have three cats, and two of them will eat raw food (which is super-healthy for them). The problem is, just raw meat alone won't supply all the nutrients that they need to be healthy, so supplements need to be added to round out their diets. We've heard of this Glandular Organs Powder and how supercharged it is with the nutrients that pets need, but at the same time we knew how fussy they are regarding their food, particularly Mia the Ragdoll. Nevertheless, we saw that it was available on Amazon so we thought we'd give it a try.Mia was the first to try it. Unfortunately, she wouldn't even taste it. Just one smell of her food, even with a very small amount of the supplement added completely repulsed her. Then we tried a bit in Josee's raw food, and this time we tried to bribe her by adding a topper of some of her favorite cat treats on top. Partial success there - she ate SOME of it, but left some behind. So we are hopeful that maybe she'll get used to it to the point where she will finish her bowl of food with the supplement included. Time will tell. The thing is, cats are reputed to love the taste of organ meats, such as chicken hearts and chicken livers, but none of our cats ever showed that much of an interest, to say the least. But if you have a cat that you know likes organ meats (liver, hearts, etc.) then that's a cat that is a good candidate to reap the benefits of this wonderful nutrient-rich supplement. We've never been dog owners, but I've heard it said by multiple dog-owners that many dogs will eat just about anything you place before them. If that's true, then folks who have dogs as pets may have a head-start to good health because of these powdered gland organs. Yes, it's a little pricey, but far less expensive than trips to the vet for maladies rooted in nutritional issues!
