The media could not be loaded. We ordered a new rain shower head and an external filter for the master bath to replace the old existing wall mounted shower head. Given how much height the two items would take up, it was determined that a 16” adjustable extension rod was needed, especially since the old one was low. My husband is tall (6’4”) so a shower head with a separate filter would definitely drop down too low forcing him to shower at an angle or bent over. If you are tall (6’ +/-) or just love the feel of water raining down on you, you definitely need this extension rod. This is the perfect solution to solve your space problems! Not only does it give him the clearance needed to fully enjoy his ‘rain fall’ shower, but he can control the position & angle of the head and water flow so he doesn’t need to bend down or be crammed against the shower faucet wall to enjoy it! The instructions are pretty easy to follow and all parts are included. The rod itself is easy to install (once the old head is removed), and plumbers’ tape was included to ensure a snug, no leak fit. You can adjust the arm vertically to different heights until you find that ‘sweet spot’ then tighten the wingnuts to lock it in place. The rod is pretty heavy duty and appears solidly built. It is 100% solid brass and designed to connect to any standard shower head and arm, and supports a load of up to 5 lbs. It also comes in 7 different flavors to fit your current bathroom décor. I must admit, there was a moment that I had my doubts that a 16” arm extension would hold sturdy the 8” heavy duty rain shower head AND filter (NearMoon), but it does, and it fits in beautifully! It’s been a few weeks now with no change in water pressure, no drips or leaks, and no slippage/drooping requiring the arm to be readjusted or tightened. I couldn't be happier with my 16” rod extender & suspect it will last my lifetime. Well worth the price. 5 Stars!

I didn't know whether I would like changing the position of my shower head. I certainly was. Coupling this extension with a multi-stream head really makes showering a pleasure!The sparkPod installed very quickly and easily. I used an open-end wrench assist in positioning and holding the pipes as I tighten the SparkPod for a leak-free attachment. This shower head extension was exactly what I needed. I installed a new shower head in my bathroom, but it barely cleared the hanging shower caddy and everything got wet. Also it was so close to the wall that I could barely get under it to shower. This shower head extension rod was the perfect answer. It was easy to install (I'm an elderly woman) and adjust and there are no leaks. Everything needed was included, and the quality seems to be very nice. I am well pleased with this purchase!

This is the second of these shower arms I have bought. The first was about 5 or 6 years ago. It worked well. Easy to install and really useful for positioning the shower head where I want it.About a month ago I noticed it was dripping around the joints. I tightened as hard as I could which reduced - but did not eliminate - the dripping. To check things out I uninstalled and disassembled the arm.Every washer, o-ring and seal in it was badly deteriorated. Several of them were reduced to a sort of black paste and two more were just powder. The surprise is that it was only dripping and not spurting water everywhere. I looked for replacements at the hardware store but could not find a full set. The only fix was to buy a new arm.I suppose for the price I can buy one every five or six years. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered a kit of replacement washers and seals.

The product was delivered on time and in great condition. It was super easy to install and works as stated. I highly recommend it for a great shower experience. I installed it within 10 minutes and that’s only because I’m a stickler for reading directions more than once.

I was pleased with this purchase. It came with Teflon tape, washers etc and was easy to fit. The only slightly confusing thing, it has an additional "adapter" which the instructions don't specifically mention but all the pics I found when zoomed in showed the adapter fitted.. so I used it anyway. The Teflon tape they provide is good quality stuff. I've used cheap brands which stretch thin etc but the supplied worked great.I like that the 11" pipe I purchased was solid metal. It was used to replace a plastic chromed one which in fairness was well over 10 years old.. I had tried to adjust it recently and the whole thing literally fell apart from water erosion. So I wanted a full metal replacement.The two adjusters on this new unit are also very sturdy. You don't need to loosen them much to be able to adjust the pipe's angle and you don't need to use a lot of effort to tighten them either. Neither leaks by just hand tightening.Overall very pleased with quality of the pipe and fittings, easy to fit and looks great.

The extension arm came in handy as our shower head position is very low. The extension made it possible for us to finally standup while showering and washing hair. I had to bend over before and I’m 5’4 so this made a smaller impact for me but my 6’ husband was very happy not to have to bend or lean back anymore. Great size to help with that. Easy to put together. Fit perfect with the shower head we purchased from the same company. Water pressure is still amazing.

Well made, solid, no plastic parts. Great replacement at the price and better than you're going to find at a local hardware store.
