I read other reviews before buying so I knew the lights were small, which was fine, I just wanted lights that weren’t the typical fairy lights type.These are perfect and aren’t unsightly in the day either. The solar panel is small enough to hide between plants (but in a sunny spot). I used 3.5mm cable tacks/clips to attach the string to my wooden sleepers.The only negative is the description says 24 foot long - that’s obviously from the solar panel all the way to the last light, but there is quite a bit of cable before the first light. I had hoped the lights would’ve covered more space than they have, but I like them so much I decided to order a second set to get the look I wanted (photo shows the first set in place, I’m waiting for the second set).Another positive are the different lighting modes (or you can just have them “on”).The light they emit isn’t very bright, but they’re not designed for that purpose, but I was really surprised by how long they stay lit in the evening for. I fitted them lunchtime yesterday, which was a dull rainy day, I’m not sure what time they actually came on (sunset was 20:30) but they were still going strong at 1am.Overall I’m very pleased and happy to recommend, just remember there is a length of “empty” cable when measuring up.

Great lights just wish they were a little longer. I got 2 to double up and would deffo recommend getting more than you think you’ll need. The lights don’t got right to the end of the wire so take this into consideration when looking at the length. We used ours for decorating our tent whilst camping and they lit up the first night after only 2 hours daylight (not sunny) which I think is fab! Very pretty and can easily be used for any celebration or just to add a little sparkle to your garden. Easy to assemble the solar spike too

I bought these for the windowsill. They’re really pretty when they’re on and working, but it takes quite a sunny day to have them at decent brightness for any length of time. After a cloudy day, they just shine weakly for less than an hour. I’m happy I bought them, but I won’t buy any more. Maybe they’re better for the summer.

Brilliant solar lights that are much brighter than I was expecting. Ive had cheap solar powered lights in the past and they've always been a disappointment with weak output and a tendancy to break. These lights - to my surprise are quite the opposite. I initially bought 2 sets thinking they'd cover my back fence (around 12 metres) but they only covered about 2/3 of the distance, so I bought another set. They're easy to install and worked perfectly from the first day I'll, despite only putting the up about 2pm on a fairly overcast day. Can't recommend them enough, a neighbour even asked where I got them as he wants to buy a set himself. I just hope they last and continue to work as they have done the first few days.

These are overall quite good lights.I ordered two sets and they both perform well but not equally good. The small solar panels for both are mounted side by side on a backyard fence and both facing south.Both charge up well on a bright day but the difference is marked in performance after dark when the lights come on. One set can burn for 6/7 hours which is excellent but the other set burns for 2/3 hours only, which is a bit of a disappointment.If I had ordered one set and had received the better performing set I would have been delighted, and probably would have reviewed it at 5 stars.If however I had received the poorer performing set I would have been very disappointed and reviewed at possibly 2 stars.So inconsistency in performance is an issue so overall I feel a rating of 3 stars is justified.

Update May 2023: after a year, half of the lights are failing, so need to replace 3 of these. Not happy!They are cute fairy lights and look good when they work. I put them up in the late spring and they worked somewhat well over the summer though not all through the night, and now in November, they come on for 20 mins at the most before they go out.Be aware that they will not work well or at all during autumn/winter/spring when there isn't enough sunlight to charge them and don't count on them charging at all on cloudy days.

I love them. I got them in the lightening sale so they were a bargain but they'd be lovely full price.Not as long as expected but the little globes are really pretty on or off and the function settings have loads of choices. They have a golden glow rather than a white one but I like that. And usually the solar bit on this sort of light is flimsy and not great at charging but this one is sturdy and it fully charged on an overcast day through a window

These lights look great in out little back garden. They also add some atmosphere and make the house looked lived in (from a security point of view) when it gets dark.They’re not too bright so that they annoy the neighbours and just have a soft warm glow.I’m thinking of getting a few more just to finish off the fence line that they currently line.I’d recommend them to anyone, and for the price, I really don’t know how they make any money on these things.They also don’t require batteries so from environmental and running costs perspectives they are ideal.***Updated 10/08/19***So the first set that I bought failed a week ago, they just stopped charging. I opened the unit and saw that it’s powered by a rechargeable aa battery so I changed the battery for one of my own rechargables, unfortunately it still wouldn’t charge.So I emailed the seller and they responded the very next day and said that they would send me a new set of lights which they did and they arrived just a few days later.Great service from a great seller A+++++

The media could not be loaded. Son muy útiles para decorar exteriores (o interiores si pones la placa led en una ventana) y dan un ambiente muy relajante.Tiene varios modos de funcionamiento incluida la luz fija y no hace falta encenderlo de noche porque puedes dejarlo encendido y cuando se hace de día se apaga solo.Lo mejor es que sea solar porque te ahorras costes de iluminación y tener que pasar cables o enchufes al exterior de la casa. También lo he probado en días de lluvia y aguanta estupendamente en el exterior por lo que tengo pensado dejarlo todo el año fuera para que ilumine el patio cada vez que salga de noche.

De momento aguantan un montón de horas encendidas. La luz que dan és tan càlida que convierte mi balcón en un sitio acogedor. Da un aire muy romántico, la verdad.
