Works well and very absorbing but without getting into to much detail for the men out there control the flow to give it time to work otherwise you are in “abandon ship” territoryUpdating review as had to use this while having food poisoning in a car trip. Had tucked one behind the car passenger sun visor ages ago on after being stuck in a jam on M25 felt ill and had to use it. Worked very well tbh if I did not have it would have been very unpleasant!

These are very handy. Having 3 boys these are very handy and I keep them in the car. The gel forms straight away as the urine is absorbed and they hold alot!!

Great when on the road.

As a regular festival goer and camper i have used a few different brands of urinals over the years. The capacity on this one is low making it tricky if you have a full bladder as you would need 2 at least. So not so good for emergencies when your bladders full! They don't seal on the top either though you do get a bag to put them in. On the plus side their absorbance is superior to the other brand I frequently use, but in these situation size matters more.

Over 50's: do you want to be staggering out of your tent at 3am to find a hole in the ground with a 35 foot long drop? Of course you don't. These will get you through four nights at the Glastonbury festival.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good portable toilet. I purchased it for the car in case of emergencies where there are no toilets available. I first tested to make sure it actually works by filling it with water. Within 30 seconds, the water had been soaked up and turned into gel. No leakage or spillage worries.Fantastic!It’s good that it comes with bags though.I went on a Scotland road trip but didn’t need to use the bags as there were so many stopovers with toilets. So haven’t actually used yet. But my test with water seemed to work so I’m sure it’ll be fine.I wish they were bigger though, like 1L, as when you’re desperate, you have a lot to pee.Gave it a 4 star as I think the opening could be made bigger for women. I’d still want to use a towel underneath when using this (just in case so I keep one in the car). Probably me just being paranoid though as I’ve only ever used a toilet to pee in before! Lol
