Seriously—this is hands down the best pasta I’ve ever had. As a devoted pasta lover with over 50 years of experience (including making my own from scratch), I’ve tried countless brands. This one truly exceeded my expectations. Every time I serve it, people ask, “What brand is this??” It’s that good.A quick tip for fellow pasta enthusiasts: don’t overcook it. This pasta has a wonderfully firm texture when cooked correctly, but if it’s overdone, it becomes overly dense. I’ve tried freezing it after cooking, and while it’s still edible, the texture gets a bit too thick and loses some of its original appeal.For the best experience, cook only what you need and follow the package directions closely—trust me, it makes a difference. One more thing I appreciate is how beautifully this pasta holds onto sauce. Whether it’s a light olive oil blend or a hearty ragu, it clings perfectly, making each bite rich and flavorful.If you’re serious about pasta, this might just become your new favorite too.

This pasta shape is such fun! DeCecco makes high quality pasta and offers traditional and unusual types such as this. Think: spaghetti with hole running through the center. Delicious.

I love the fact that it has the hole all the way through the pasta. It grabs so much sauce. It’s crazy. It is delightful for any kind of pasta you made. This one was just a pesto butter type of pasta with shrimp that I made up. But yes, very very good. I’ve already ordered two more.

Absolutely delicious, just a superior grade of pasta. Will definitely be buying more. This time around, I cooked them up and put butter on them and served under my crock pot beef stew. One cautionary note: THEY ARE VERY CLEAR THAT YOU'RE GETTING 8.8 OZ. It was entirely my mistake that I thought I was buying a one-pound package. I think some other people in my age group especially who are used to seeing one pound of pasta per pack all their lives could make this assumption as well. Again, this is clearly a very high quality, delicious product.

Good quality but pricy

De Cecco is my favorite pasta. It’s very flavorful and cooks easily. It holds sauces much better than others I’ve tried.

Unable to find this noodle in grocery stores. Nice change of pace for dinner with butter and sesame seeds

This brand exceeded my expectations and others ask me “what brand of pasta is this??”As a true pasta eater; don’t overcook this pasta. It gets too dense. I’ve frozen this brand of cooked pasta, and it’s ok- but it gets too thick.Just cook it as needed and follow the directions on the package. It will become your favorite pasta.
