Thai Kitchen Red Curry Paste, 35 oz - One 35 Ounce Tub of Thai Red Curry Paste with Red Chili Pepper, Lemongrass, Thai Ginger and Spices, Perfect for Stir-Fries and Soup Bases

When I ordered this curry paste, I was a little worried that it would be too hot for me. I have a sensitive mouth and if something is too hot it'll hurt really bad. When I started my curry, I tested a very small amount of this paste in small amount of coconut milk. Well....I had to keep adding, and adding, and adding more and more. The heat level was barely there. I probably added about 3 to 4 tablespoons of it to one can of coconut milk. It had a slow, mild burn. I think anyone who likes it hot would've had to add some type of additional hot sauce. Possibly this happened because peppers can vary in their heat level. Maybe a different container would have more heat to it, because there are other reviewers that thought it had a burn. IDK... Anyway, it worked for me. Another thing though.... if you're new to making curry and you don't have a good recipe, don't follow the recipe on the back of the container. Curry needs fish sauce... between 1 to 2 tablespoons (to taste) To start off, I also cooked an onion with a tablespoon of coconut oil on medium until it was translucent, about 8 minutes. I then added a tablespoon of grated ginger and a couple cloves of grated garlic. This added so much flavor to my curry. All in all, I did enjoy my dinner. Plus I had some leftovers for the next day!

This paste takes my dishes up a level. It's very good.

I’m a curry fiend. We eat curry weekly and this is one of my favorite sauces (kids can’t handle the heat of the one from the Asian market). I like being able to measure out however much I want instead of having to scrape it out of those tiny other bottles. Sometimes I prep a big pot of curry sauce to freeze and just need a metric ton of curry, this is perfect.

This red curry paste is delicious, but I couldn't use it fast enough, and it went moldy. It's just too large a container for the rate at which I could use it. Sadly, I think the next size down is a tiny jar.

This sure beats buying the tiny 4 oz jars at the local grocery store. This has an exceptional flavor. It is mild enough that you can use enough to get full flavor without making it too spicy. Since there are different spice level preferences in our home, its a perfect choice as it's suitable for the mild spice lovers and the hot spice lovers just add a little extra heat to their meals. It's by far my favorite red curry paste!

Wonderful tasting curry base. Good amount of heat. Mixed with coconut milk and added to shrimp or chicken with veggies, and it makes an amazing meal! Lots of servings - lasts a long time!

If you make Thai curry as much as I do, this is a must. It is wonderful, tastes fresh and delicious. You cannot beat the price, I am used to paying a small fortune for a tiny bottle. This is much less expensive and as I said, it is delicious.

Tastes very authentic and flavorful. It is spicy and that's what we love! Good size tub would last for a long time. We keep it in freezer.

The curry paste didn't come with a lid. Had to buy a container to store it in. Pretty poor for $70 pricepoint!
