Yes, no problems carrying. It takes some effort to take it on and off the rack when using or not using is my only criticism—can’t do squats on the power rack with VersaSpot in place.

Do they work with the iron master square adjustable dumbbells

There should not be a problem with the square dumbbells. I use hex shaped dumbbells from Dick's and they work just fine. The veraspot is a great product and it's helped my lifting significantly. Just watch the hole size of the rack you're matching it up to-I don't remember the exact size but many of the racks hole size is not large enough.
