Q: The $99 version vibrates a lot with songs with more bass. Not crazy about that. Is this version better with that?

Like with most headphones, Trekz Air's transducers will vibrate at high bass levels. While the majority of our customers don't have an issue with this, we understand that some of our customers are more sensitive to it than others.

Q: I hear in mono now and would like to trick my brain into thinking that it is stereo

While AfterShokz has a strong community of individuals that are hard of hearing, as a sports headphones company, we don't have the expertise to confirm whether our headphones can work for any particular person or medical condition. What we do know is that our headphones work by sending vibrations through the inner ear and into the cochlea. Customers who benefit most from our products seem to be those with damaged eardrums, but healthy cochlea.

Q: Can I talk on the phone

I paired it with my Samsung Android phone at work. It worked well for phone calls and listening to music. The music does occasionally sound tinny. Once in awhile I have to move to a quieter area so I can hear phone conversations. I work in a very loud fab.

Q: I saw someone complain about sunscreen damaging their unit. anyone else have trouble with that? does the warranty cover that?

Haven’t had an issue with this though if you wear a lot of sunscreen you might wipe them off after use
