I bought this for my niece for Christmas. It is her birthstone for October. I didn't want to get her another pink stone and I lived the design of this necklace. She fell in live with it! It's a nice weight and perfect size. I will get her the earrings to match for her birthday. I am not sire if there is a matching bracelet but if there is, I will buy that too! This is a beautiful piece! Highly recommend!

The garnet necklace is lovely, and seems to be very nice quality. This is something I will wear often.

When a gift occasion occurs, I often tend to jewelry for women usually their birth stone. The gift recipient of this pendant was a high school graduate with a December birthday. Lapis lazuli can be one of the December birth stones. In the accompanying card I related to benefits of lapis lazuli such as strength and courage, royalty and wisdom, intellect and truth. I used to give earrings, but I myself often lose an earring- even, sadly, from "good" earrings so I now tend to gift jewelry that isn't so easily lost. Years ago I had a part time job in the city's best jewelry store. I learned a lot about jewelry. This pendant is absolutely beautiful. It is eye catching. The silver is lovely, not cheap looking. Definitely a keeper! It is a piece that young women would wear as well as older women. In other words, a timeless piece.

I was shocked when I opened the package and found a necklace and ruby that were first disappointing because the stone was suppose to be a lighter shade of ruby but as said above it looks almost black. Also it was presented on a velvet background that did nothing to enhance the stones features and actual beauty despite it being a very dark Ruby. I changed it out with another different insert which gave it a much n nicer presentation. I am keeping it because it is still a nice piece.

The quality on this necklace is outstanding. I intended it to be a gift but like it so much I'm keeping it for myself! The color of the garnet is gorgeous - not dark as so many are these days. A classic look but with a bit of interest. This necklace is perfect! Will definitely buy from these folks again!

It did seem a lot smaller than on Amazon. The chain is very very fine and the hook on the end almost impossible to close it. I immediately had to buy one of those magnet closures.
