Bex Gears Left-Handed Unfinished Guitar Body Okoume Wood Made

Where to start? I rarely give 5 stars for anything..but..for $49 this body is just beautiful. After making lots of right handed partscasters for other people I ordered this to make a lefty for myself. The body is made of Okoume wood..very similar to mahogany in color, hardness and weight..i think i heard it is an African type of mahogany. all of the body routs are cut nice n clean. The control cavities are nice and deep, it has a nice looking grain suitable for staining..i saw no wood filler. No scratches, no dents. This unfinished body is much nicer than what i was getting from anywhere else for the same money. All it needed was a finish sanding with 320 or 400 grit and thats to be expected at this price. I have been looking and looking and cannot find anything bad about this body !!! Bex gear did a great job on this body..i am blown away and will be ordering again from them..btw my review is real.

I am retracting my 5 star review of this product.Just brought this thing to a Reputable Luthier here in Mckinney Tx today, 6/22/23. He showed me that the bridge routing is completely off center. This guitar body is useless. Complete waste of time & money on this thing. Do Not Buy!!!! Would give it a zero star rating if I could. Had to order a brand new body from Warmoth.

The body is beautiful by itself and very well made. Pretty lightweight too. It doesn't have that one hole from the picture. Would definitely buy these for my projects.
