Durability and capacity
I have used Jandy valves for sometime and have been very happy with them. However these Pentair valves were more readily available so I took a chance on them. They’re every bit as good of Jandy and I like the adjustment with the pins better. They were also less expensive so I think I’m a Pentair guy now. Highly recommend them

This diverter works great
Installed this in the 2 inch line coming from the pool, part of a rebuild of the pipes for our pool which included an upgrade to a 2 HP pump and motor for the pool. This diverter is holding up very well.

Huge Design Flaw
A 2” valve should NOT constrict flow below a 2” diameter. Look at the picture, this valve’s operating mechanism restricts flow to something less than a 1.5” valve. Long term losses from the flow restriction will result in significant energy costs as the pool pump must work harder to overcome this constriction.
