I got this to give out as a baby shower gift. Its very nicely made, and very soft. This is a boy theme to me, that's what i thought of with it being football. It came with a helmet cut out of felt to place over the month that corresponds with the age of the baby. This can be used at any age if ya ask me. Its a very beautifully blanket even with whatever printed on it. I'm very happy with my purchase of the milestone blanket. I have had no problems with the seller and would buy from them again. Very fast with the shipping of the milestone blanket. It came very nicely packaged up, you can use it just for pictures and place it away till next time, you can also pass it along when your baby's done out growing it.

I bought this for my son to show his growth over his first few weeks and then the first 12 months of his life. I absolutely love it!The blanket is lightweight and washes easily with the rest of his clothes. The print on the blanket is perfectly clear. He has spit up on it a couple of times and it didn’t stain or ruin the blanket at all.I like that this blanket comes with felt pieces that let you show if you’re taking a week or month milestone picture. He changed so much over the first 12 weeks that it’s nice to have a record of it. The oval for him to lay in is a nice touch because it really shows how much bigger the baby is from week to week and month to month. The dark blue gives a nice contrast to every outfit we have used too. This is a great blanket to buy yourself or to give at a baby shower.

Note that the description shows "baseball"...I ordered and received the one pictured, which is for basketball and for which the following review is submitted. This is a unique shower gift for a mom/dad who can't keep their eyes off the TV during March Madness! The idea of being able to use the blanket to track the baby's growth during the first year is a cute one. All of the advertised components were included in my delivery, which was a relief since some previous reviews had indicated otherwise. The blanket is not heavy, but is not a lightweight flimsy fleece either. I can see the blanket becoming a favorite of the child as they grew, particularly if they too became a big basketball fan....maybe even spread out on the floor to watch future March Madness' unfold! All in all a satisfying purchase.

Highly suprised with the quality of this. It is super adorable, super soft, durable. Came in a nice little bag, and was very impressed when I pulled it out. This is my rainbow baby so I was deciding between this and a rainbow milestone blanket, and went with this one after careful decision. So glad I did ❤Only semi-con: there was no felt cover to choose "months" or "weeks" but really doesn't bother me because I use Picsart regularly and can easily add a sticker to the photo.Would definitely gift!

I love this blanket, super adorable. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the border to go around the month and year didn't fit so I had to cut it. Which still looks cute, but feel it should have fit.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this because it’s so soft and nice! Baby isn’t born yet but I washed it and it held up perfectly. I washed it in a linen bag. The felt whistle is nice and it’s a blanket I can keep it for a long time!
