Perfect for helpling assess if you want the larger size.
I knew when buying that the products would be small, and I was okay with that. You get approximately a 1 month supply, depending on how much you use. 30 days is should be enough to see if these Drunk Elephant products are worth it. If you genuinely feel like you need more time with these products, get an additional sample from Sephora. Overall, I am very happy I tried this because I will likely NOT repurchase the larger sizes. The C-Firma serum comes out looking like a dark orange oil (it is meant to look this way), which makes it difficult to see if it oxidized. It does glide onto the skin nicely, and it leaves a good finish, but there are other vitamin Cs that do this at a lower price point (The Ordinary AGS 12% and it honestly feels the same at a fraction of the cost; however, I think C-Firma has a better Vit C but I am seeing no difference). I am not a fan of the B-Hydra...it feels a bit silicon-like on my skin. I found the Trader Joe’s Hyaluronic Serum (and Asterwood Naturals Hyaluronic Acid avail. on Amazon) to work better than the B-Hydra at hydration, and so much more cost effective. Nonetheless, everyone’s skin is different and what works for me may not work for you. I would definitely recommend getting these if you are curious about Drunk Elephant. You will get much more product than dealing with samples at Sephora, and at least they are hermetically sealed. I took off a star because I cannot tell if the C-Firma oxidized. My skin type: combo skin (dryer lately), 30s. I used to only buy luxury and sephora products, until I realized that it is all about the skincare regimen, and ingredients...not the marketing.

For those wondering about the seal and the smell...
So I reached out to Drunk Elephant's customer service after seeing all the reviews about the seal on the tin and also the smell. Here's part of their reply:"The canisters do not have seals. And, most of the products do not have seals either. No worries there! Quiverr is our only authorized retailer on Amazon. They purchase directly from us, so you can be confident that you have authentic products. The C-Firma smell you are describing is completely normal. We have clients that describe the smell to be smoky (the smell of ferulic acid), then others describe it as metallic (the smell of l-ascorbic acid). We don't add any irritating fragrances or marketing ingredients to C-Firma or any of our products, so you kind of get what you get. The serum absorbs into your skin quickly, so you shouldn't be noticing the smell after you apply it. You can try mixing it with your Lala, B-Hydra, and a few drops of Marula to see if that helps a bit."DE products have been life-changing for my acne-prone skin. Not the most wallet-friendly, but for the quality, you really can't complain. I use this in conjunction with the night duo (Marula oil and TLC Framboos) and also a weekly treatment of the Sukari Babyfacial. Hope this helps!

... using the products for about 2 months and I love the way my skin feels and how its improved
I've actually been using the products for about2 months and I love the way my skin feels and how its improved. I'll continue to use it for as long as I can afford it and for as long it worksfor my skin. It's a bit pricey for the larger sizes but it works. Use the Vita C every 2-3 days or so. Some people have had bad reactions when used daily. Its potent and works for a while with one application so it isn't necessary to use the Vita C daily. But the Hydra Gel does appear to need something to mix with so I use the marula oil with it on the days I dont use the Vita C. My skin had some pigments that balanced out well using the vita C, so it does work. I have combo skin btw.

Size DOES matter!
Call me naïve (you are naïve! – ba dum pum!) but when I viewed the photos of this set I came away with the impression that they were of adequate size. Perhaps the size of products one would find in a department store. Not so. The two items come in a nice little canister, the diameter of which is about the circumference of a silver dollar. In other words… It is small! And both products easily fit inside. They are about the size of breath spray canisters. Giving four stars because I’ve heard good things, but honestly I have only tried them each once - so far so good. But make sure when you are spending that $23 you know what you are actually getting.

Great for traveling
First try from this brand I will definitely be buying the B-Hydra serum again. I used this with jojoba oil as recommended on the back (use with any DE serum, cream or oil to lock it in). This combo worked great for the dry areas on my face - especially in the winter. The C-Firma Day Serum is good if you want something firming, definitely saw a difference in pore size but over all this isn’t really a product I need. It made my hands smell like henna for the whole day which was strange. I’m guessing this was the pumpkin extract? But even still when I washed my hands multiple times that scent stuck around. Definitely not a complete negative for the product though.Great size for traveling and testing out product!!
