This review is for the blue and red versions:REDThe description says this is a red bulb that has a spectrum around 700nm. The light is actually a light pink. The spectrum includes blue and a little green, which is why the light appears pink. I think they just made up to 700nm part because I see no reason for them to say that this bulb has a spectrum of around 700nm.All that being said... I do think plants would be happy with this bulb. It produces a quality spectrum that plants should love. The broad spectrum in the red includes the wavelengths of red light that plants like, including light at 730nm for the Emerson effect. Plants also do like to have a little bit of green light, plus adding green to the spectrum helps the human eye be able to tell the health of the plants. And the blue light is also used for photosynthesis.BLUE:I’m not sure where the manufacturers came up with the figure 475nm for this bulb... It is a standard 455nm blue diode that has a small amount of green phosphor added to it. It just looks like a standard blue light bulb.
