Fear Not
This book was a great follow up to the Her team of Coop and Mark. The. Complicated fear that Emily experiences serves. To show how strong fear is and that it is an enemy of faith. This book was a nice surprise with the young boys and their involvement. The book was a great read.

Reignited My Lost Passion for Reading!
When I was a youngster, my family went to the library once a week to pick up a couple of books each and we would share bits about our books in conversations and why we chose them. Somehow in my young adult life, I guess I got too busy for my wonderful books. A few years back, I purchased a Kindle and some books, but it was not until I started reading An Eye For An Eye by Irene Hannon, that I truly felt my passion for reading come back as strong as ever. Before I finished this book, I bought the other two in the Quantico series and I put my chore list aside as I totally immersed myself in each of these amazing stories. Good thing I had plenty of treats in the pantry for my Poo (Poodle) and food in the freezer, so no need to run errands. An Eye For An Eye is a totally believable story with characters who are so real that I felt as if they were still in my life even after I finished the book. The suspense had me turning the pages and to say that I was intrigued by the efforts of the FBI agents is putting it lightly. I loved the way the romance built as the relationship grew. I hated for the book to end, but was glad I had the other two books from the series ready to go and I jumped right in.By the way, before I finished the Quantico Series, I purchased another of Ms Hannon's trilogies. Since then, I have read 4-5 books per week from a variety of writers, but mostly with some form of suspense. Several of the authors I learned of through reading Ms Hannon's books.Ms Irene Hannon, thank you for bringing me back to the joy of reading!

A step above
I assume you have read the general description of the storyline. This book took off with the first sentence. It's a clean, Christian romantic suspense. And it delivers. The Christian thread is a little stronger in this one than it was in the first book of the series. I still didn't feel preached at. The romance had more '... sigh' than the first book also. There's plenty of danger and suspense. You get to reconnect with several characters from the first book but this one would also work as a stand alone. It is complete without hooks or cliffhangers and had a satisfying ending. The writing style flows at times like poetry, with beautiful descriptions, and yet never becomes overly descriptive or bogged down. I like that the character's physical descriptions are clear. I don't like the trend of ambiguous characters with no physical parameters. I also appreciate that this author writes books that are well researched and logistically sound. I did notice an error in the wound care procedure of a through bullet wound, but that certainly didn't harm the realistic integrity of the story. There were also a few editing problems, mostly in the first portion of the book. This is an author that without question earns her stars. Her skill is up there with the best in this genre. This book is going into my reread collection and I have already purchased the next I the series. I highly recommend this book.

A Good Mystery
A very sick man and a very frightening experience. It's sad that there are people in this life like that--A dark side, the underside ( those who feel they are doing GOD a favor. There was more darkness than light in this novel. It helps one value and see the sanctity of life.

An Eye for an Eye (Heroes of Quantico Book #2): A Novel
Long lost childhood friends meet in the most unlikely place. FBI Agent Mark Sander's was out running on the morning of his chance encounter with a teenage friend Emily Lawson. Mark was recovering in the St. Louis office of the FBI from a gun shot wound to his leg which he received when encountering a hostage situation in a quick mart. The angry hate mail he and the department had received after the event had caused his boss to suggest a change of duty while he recovered. Mark had been cleared of any wrong doing after the investigation, but he still wondered if anything could have been done differently. Emily was out walking on the same morning and as they got closer, Mark realized that he knew who she was. The events from this chance meeting draw the two past teenage friends together.

An Eye for an Eye
I liked this book, but not as much as the first book. In the first book, I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next, and I really cared about what happened to Coop and Monica. I saw and understood as those two were falling in love and, I felt that I was coming along for the journey. With this book, however, so much of the love story took place when they were kids. I never felt the connection between Mark and Emily that I felt between Coop and Monica.

Forgiveness and compassion really is the best medicine
Approaching the development of the story through the eyes of different characters kept the reader in the dark not only about the perpetrator but also the intended victim. I found this to be a fascinating twist. The Christian emphasis was not preachy but was profound. I experienced tension along with the characters and then appreciated the happily ever after. It was a pleasant read.

Captivating
A captivating crime novel that will hold your attention all the way to the end. I enjoy the Christian influence in these novels as they encourage reliance on Christ in every situation from solving the crime, keeping them safe to solving their relationship dilemma. Couldn’t put it down.

FUNtastic
Fantastic series, great suspense. You don't need to read the Volume 1 to get this story, but it is helpful. I love Hannon's characters, they are deep, yet simple, and also funny! As a Christian I appreciate the angle that is presented here, but it's not "cheap" as in some other novels.I've read a few books by Irene Hannon and there are more on my wish list.

Another great mystery/romance from Irene Hannon
Another exciting read from Irene Hannon. The hero or heroine is being stalked and shot at, but which one was the real target? Both have believable enemies, and the author keeps us guessing well into the book. Again, we meet a couple of characters from the first book, but also some new ones. The lead characters are really likeable, and there is a good mix of romance and mystery.

I felt the story moved at a good pace and accurately showed the time it takes working ...
I found this story easier to follow than the first book in the series. After the shooting incident at the beginning the police are left to figure out whether it was Mark or Emily who was the target. As readers we find out fairly early on who was the intended target and as you get deeper into the story you find out why. The police however have very little leads to go on and you begin to wonder if they will ever be able to catch the person responsible. I felt the story moved at a good pace and accurately showed the time it takes working a case.
