Orchard Grass - 15 oz

Bunny are this as if lasted for about two months. The hat is thick and dry. Was the give out and was fresh. This was worth my money and value

I love the Oxbow hays, I got sick of the junk at the petstores being mostly either sticks or dust!! I give my guinea pig this (Orchard Grass) the Oxbow Botanical and the Oxbow Meadow hay. I usually have 2 of these at one time and rotate them for variety, she loves them all, although I think the Botanical is a favorite, I know I love the way it smells!! It is nice that they have a resealable bag, but the problem is, if you don't take a HUGE amount out of the bag the first time, you'll never get it closed again, so I dump the whole thing into a large plastic container, not going to mark off stars for that as it's barely worth mentioning. I've been through about 8 or 9 bags of the various "flavors" of the Oxbow hay and it's always fresh, green and clean. I've never found any strange things mixed in the hay like I've heard about people finding in other hays. This is the only brand I trust!!

My hamster megatron loves it a lot PLUS it makes his cage not smell like.. hamster.. crazy how that works. Also the grass is rlly packed in the bag so im sure it'll last a while ! :)

My Guinea Pig Mr. Sooty Seacrest is fussy. He is a connoisseur of fine hays and grasses. And if he could talk, I am sure he would endorse Orchard Grass by Oxbow as the finest verdant fiber-food out there. But ONLY when it is FINE. You see, at times there are certain bags of this product which are rather coarse and more like HAY, and not FINE like the sweet fragrant Orchard Grass he and his friends Figaro and Sippi so fervently prefer. "A travesty!" the G. Piggies say--"to have bags of tediously mediocre lifeless hay masquerading as scrumptiously fresh Orchard Grass?" I've tried to explain that this hay for grass substitution problem is all because of recent droughts in Oxbowland caused by Global Warming. Now the GP's want me to write to President Obama and tell him to get this global warming problem under control fast, because Guinea Pigs deserve supreme quality soft Orchard Grass at every meal. (Sanity-Infused Translation: In our recent shipment of 2 bags, only 1 was good enough for G.P.'s to do a popcorn jig over. Hopefully your pets aren't as picky.)

Nice clean, fresh orchard grass without any dust. Great for our guinea pigs and the humans in the house with hay allergies.

I've had this hay for a few days now and my pigeon is enjoying sleeping on it. I bought it as nesting material for him. He likes to sing and dance in his nest (its adorable) so I wanted to add some padding. Also, I heard that Timothy hay has a lot of dust, and since I have asthma, I decided to go with Orchard hay instead, as well as to not make him sneeze. I read that Orchard hay doesnt have as much dust as Timothy hay, and so far, it hasnt aggrivated my asthma at all, and my pigeon has been doing fine with it. Of course it can be a different outcome with other people suffering from asthma, but from my personal experience, Orchard hay is the way to go. It does make a slight mess (especially since the hay gets kicked out of his nest when he flies) but simply using a broom, your hand to pick it up, or vaccum can clean it up fine.

I bought the small size to taste test since my guinea pigs had only ever had timothy hay before I adopted them. I use this hay as a daily "treat" hay in a smaller hay rack next to their larger hay rack with timothy hay. This hay smells great every time you open the bag! And mainly has fresh hay with a few typical dry-ish strands. When you first open the bag, there's so much hay packed in there that the bag won't close- i liked that I didn't feel cheated out of a bag because they packed so much into it. I just put the small bag in another zip lock bag until it was able to close on its own. Would buy again! My guinea pigs love this as part of their breakfast routine!

I thought that this was maybe a bit expensive (six quid for 425g of dried grass), but on opening the bag noses immediately started twitching. My rabbits will do anything for this tasty morsal. The hay is of excellent quality. On a wet weekend just sniffing this hay will make you smile - or maybe sneeze :)

incredible quality. oxbow make such good quality hay, Sha, e my rabbit doesnt really like any hay exept alfalfa. cant give her much or it tho as it's supposed to be used as a treat. readi grass is all she will eat
