The Second Most Helpful Review of This Product
I was tired of being stabbed by flying needle-like wire bristles while wheel wheeling or doing Jim Carey faces hours after wire brushing and unexpectedly getting poked by a bristle at an inopportune time that ended up in my hair or clothing. If you've used the old fashioned wheeled brushes you know what I'm talkin'bout. My review for all the different 'grits,' of the wheels are the same - the mandrel/drill mount and wheels for a bench mounted grinder. The 'grit' rating doesn't seem to be the same as I'd expected and used with rating sandpaper, but that might be just me.These work as well, if not better because the ends are always fresh and sharp. They're also lasting a lot longer than I'd expected - much longer than wire bristle versions - both the HF cheapies and the big named manufacturer versions that makes you say 'that was how much?' when it fails 'too soon.'They also do better on complex shapes. Examples would be these get into where cross members are riveted to frame rails or other joints and components. They're pretty darn good, but not perfect 100% of the time getting under the lip of the rivets They're also more forgiving when you wheel something you should have really removed. With some practice if you're only doing a section, you can feather the paint, rust, muck being removed so touching it up so you can sell it as rust-free from Arizona, is much more plausible than with wire. There is a safety factor with the Nyalox product that you don't get with the old-fashioned style; because the bristles wear down evenly you don't get to a point where the bristles are like a defensive porcupine pummeling you and your workspace with sharp, usually hot, needles that you'll find months later rusted into the surface of something not even close to where you were working. The other part of the safety factor is they get smaller, and you have to give up and replace them, because you're close to the structure of the wheel or the machine powering it. No more of that one more day like you might do with the old-fashioned kind where you use it until it looks like teeth on a cartoon hillbilly granny.

Dico 4-inch wheel brush (grey 80 grits) drill attachment
Bad experience with Amazon delivers to their locker to the Rite Aid Bay Point store. Dico product company failed to place my name on the mailing label and no invoice inside the package. Dico delayed my order for whatever reason. The UPS delivery person failed to place my order in the Amazon locker and two of my Dico brush (Blue and Orange) was returned to sender because the UPS delivery person attempted to deliver my order to the store clerk. Amazon representative told me that I must use the Amazon Locker listed on the website instead of typing the information into the Amazon Locker with the Rite Aid store address. At the time of order, the locker was not listed at the time of my order. It took the store manager about an hour to find my first order. I was lucky to describe my purchased items inside the package before opening the package in front of the store management. UPS failed to deliver my purchase to the locker even though the label stated Amazon Locker and the Dico company failed to place my name on the delivery label.I am updating my experience on the use of the Nylon end Dico (Blue 240 grits, Orange 120 grits, and Grey 80 grits) brush and the wheel ¾ wide by 4 inches diameter Grey 80 grits brush. I purchased the Dico brush to remove dried paint off an aluminum ladder. The Disco “End” and “Wheel” brushes are like rough sand paper so I think it would not be good to be use on a fiberglass ladder. The use of the grey Dico wheel brush marred the shine off the aluminum ladder. It works fairly well on the rung of the ladder. The end brushes did not work too well on the curves to remove dried paint. The use of the Dico wheel brush attached to the drill for a long period may damage your drill due to the pressure on the bushing because the drill is not made to be apply pressure sideways. I gave it a 3 star because after examining the product it appears sturdy, but it does not remove the paint off the ladder easily and the company’s poor delivery service. Use a razor blade attached a scraper works better especially on the flat surface.

works
I thought I was buying the same brand I had but this is a different brand, and my other brand with finer grit cuts thru better on my project.

This is my second one, I get more done with these nyalox bristles, and don’t seem to cut grooves in my metal as bad as the wire wheel, when this one wears down I’ll definitely order again, greagt product!
