The second volume of an amazing SNES compendium!
I have an unhealthy obsession with buying nearly every video game book released, and this (along with the other volume) is easily in my top five. I read books like this cover to cover and love discovering games I never played or reading reviews and stories about games I love. Brett Weiss has a true passion for this, and it always shines through in his works. So whether you're a diehard SNES fan or someone that is just discovering the system, this is an indispensable guide!

Volume 2 of the most comprehensive SNES Omnibus out there
Full disclosure: I contributed to this book. But even so, I think it's pretty fantastic. The author, Bret Weiss, has been around in video gaming for decades. He has done a phenomenal job assembling on the printed page what might be the greatest library of video games ever. The book is loaded with pictures, memories from gaming insiders, and lots more. I think you'll seriously dig it if you remember the golden age of gaming.

Great Reference for the SNES library
I enjoyed reading vol 1 and am so glad to get my hands on vol 2. This set is a MUST for any SNES fan / collector. It's full of the classic ads and great details about each game. I cant wait to see what system Brett Weiss writes about next. The books in the set are solid pieces of art that look amazing on the shelf when not being read.

A Must Have For Any Gaming Enthusiast's Library
In the interest of full disclosure, I was a contributor to both volumes in this series. Moreover, I am very proud and honored to have been so, as the end result far exceeded my expectations. Author Weiss deftly blends a comprehensive collection of facts regarding the legendary console’s library with the highly engaging and entertaining anecdotes and insights provided by the 16-bit sensation’s die-hard fans. In its totality, The SNES Omnibus series is a love letter to one of the most iconic gaming systems ever produced.

A Must buy For The SNES Enthusiast
Last year’s SNES Omnibus Vol. 1 stood as a crowning achievement for author Brett Weiss. Not just a paint by numbers catalog of SNES, but a deep dive into each title for the console up to Musya. Every title got a spotlight regardless of popularity or perceived quality. So it should be no surprise the The SNES Omnibus Vol. 2 continues with the same quality in content. Every game from Natsume Championship Wrestling to Zoop gets a spotlight in the second volume dedicated to Nintendo’s 16 bit console. Both entries are must have for anyone that wants to know about the systems library. I’d even go as far to say that they should be required reading for anyone studying to go into video game production.

Quality book with nostalgic feels.
(Full disclosure. I took part in this book.) The SNES omnibus volume 2 not only finishes the Super Nintendo library started in book 1 but continues a long line of books that drew me to Brett’s work to begin with. I love the encyclopedia style of his work where I can look up any game or just casually take a stroll through the systems library. They are perfect coffee table books for video game fans or possibly fans of old technology.

Half the SNES roster!
Full page descriptions of half of the SNES games that came out in the US. Very good quality photos, and informative. If you're a collector of all things SNES you can't go wrong with this!
