Wanted to test this APU as I still have a A8 7600 and wanted to test the new A12 APU vs the older A8 7600 in pool mining ZEC. The A12 9800 7th gen. gets 45 h/s vs 30 h/s for the A8 7600. A huge 40+ % increase now it's just a add-on to 4 RX560s but it's something. So getting around 500 h/s total for 1 rig or 1 payout per day of .01 ZEC per machine.

It's a great Process
It's a great Processor. It's over price. I'm not to sure for gaming. But it's great with no issues. I'm going to useing this processor for upgrading my motherboard very soon.

Super Hot with Crashes
Runs really hot, like 70C-75C idle (was afraid of stock cooling) and I could not get graphics drivers to work on Windows 10. It just crashed. Didn't know if it was the drivers or the chip, but I could not get it to work with any version of the driver. The CPU part of it was fine I guess.

Great budget APU for my AM4 system
Great budget APU. Working better than I expected.

integrated graphics make this APU a great value
Almost every game is playable (low settings or higher) at 1080p with this chip's integrated graphics. Pair it with fast ram, at least 2133mhz. This makes for a very cheap and future-proof (am4) budget setup. 65w TDP is a nice efficiency improvement from the last-gen 95w APUs, especially considering they boosted the base igpu clock from 866mhz to 1100. Make sure you have the maximum igpu memory allowed in your BIOS settings (mine is capped at 2gb).

A12 - Low Power in a High Power Socket!
It works but uses the new socket and is way under powered. Wanted to check out how it worked and I wish I hadn't. Do not recommend the A12 to anyone! A Ryzen 3 with a video card would not cost a lot more and is much much better. Stay away from the A12!

La mejor relación desempenio - precio, no se puede comparar con otros procesadores del mismo rendimiento pero con precios mucho mayores. recomendado AMD siempre.

Ho acquistato la CPU AMD A12-9800 perchè cercavo un buon processore ad un buon prezzo, e credo di averlo trovato. Certamente non è un prodotto pensato per i gamers... I benchmark lo uguagliano all'Intel i3-7300T, che però costa una volta e mezzo. Le prestazioni non sono nemmeno troppo inferiori (-15%) al suo fratello più grande, l'AMD Ryzen 3 1200, che tra l'altro ha lo stesso prezzo, ma non contenendo alcun processore video (GPU) rende obbligatorio l'acquisto di una scheda video, ed ecco che il prezzo finale torna a salire. Questo processore invece ospita al suo interno 4 CPU (overcloccabili fino a 4,2GHz) e la bellezza di 8 GPU Radeon R7, quindi permette di utilizzare le uscite video predisposte sulla scheda madre. Tra l'altro è incluso anche il DISSIPATORE (con relativa ventola e strato di pasta termoconduttiva già pronta), per cui può essere installato nel relativo socket AM4 senza dover acquistare nient'altro. Giudizio: Promosso!

Personalmente sono un fan della AMD che a mio parere crea processori con soluzioni infinitamente migliori della più blasonata intel. Nello specifico la A12-9800 è davvero rapida nei calcoli e consuma il giusto come energia. Completa il tutto una scheda video integrata della famiglia R7 che fa in modo che il computer possa affrontare tutte le situazioni dai carichi di lavoro business a quelli gaming (ovvio non prendete di giocare con giochi pesanti a 60 fps) però è davvero un ottimo prodotto.

Es una buena opción para remolazar el antiguo kaveri. Ya que bajas de 95 a 65 wats. Recomendado 100 por ciento
