My dog is a yellow lab and she’s 12. She got very thin for a bit and the vet recommended this with a digestive health food. She looks great and has been on it a month and gained 12 lbs. she looks healthier. She loves the taste and has no issues eating in atop her food

I never write reviews! This sweet 5 year old boy was severely abused and a stray (in and out of shelters his whole life). He was rescued, fostered and ready for his fur-ever home. His foster said he tried his best to fatten him up in the 10 months he had him. Even with extra feedings he was still ribs and exposed bones (1st photo). We tested for parasites but we are baffled. With this supplement he is healthier and happy and full of the love we knew he had to give! Sooooo happy we saved him.

Love this for our dog! We have learned she can handle it better when mixed with water!

I have read countless reviews about this product. Everything was great. I’ve even read that some people even feed their pup this product twice a day to help their pup gain weight. I have given my dog those twice a day since I got the product on the ninth, and unfortunately, my dog has not even gained a single pound. I feed my dog fresh food which consist of chicken hearts, chicken livers, chicken thighs, ground up and cooked in coconut oil that fat then drained off into their rice that I cook and then it’s added to their peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, blueberries, and 18 eggs my dog should’ve gained weight and she didn’t. I’m gonna have to resort to taking her to the veterinarian, unfortunately to see if we can do to get this pup to gain some weight.

I have two very picky puppies that have had medical issues ruled out. The vet suggested free feeding with wet food but they still take forever and would never eat their recommended amount each day. I give them their scoop of this weight gainer mixed with water and put it on their dry puppy food and they cannot get enough! We are back to feeding 3x day and I have stopped worrying about this all day long. Both have grown and gained well and are no longer underweight. I’ve even cut the scoops in half and mix with water to distribute throughout the day and they still are doing great with their wet food. They go to the cabinet where the bag is stored and sit and wait for me to get it out. They literally eat this like they would eat real bacon. Really great purchase and I can’t thank you enough for reducing my stress and giving me my days back!!!

One of my two Great Danes isn't a 'morning pup' and oftentimes just walks away from her breakfast. She is a very active dog so I know she is 'burning off more than she takes in' - with her limited food intake. I thought this product might be the answer to her picky behavior over breakfast - and up her caloric intake. The aroma of this product - like bacon! - is tantalizing. I thought if I added it to her morning meal for sure she would eat her breakfast - every morning. However, it took about 3 days before she would even sample it. Finally she gave it a try -- begrudgingly. :-) [so fussy!] She ate it for about 2 weeks - now she is back to her 'no thanks' for breakfast again. :-( It's too soon to say if she gained any weight from its limited use -- but I was very surprised she didn't dive right into her food -- since it made it smell so good! I added warm water to 'up' the aroma - but still she shows little interest in it. I think it has to be 'just her' so I don't think it deserves less than 4 stars -- as I said, it really smells good -- I can't imagine there are too many dogs out there that would turn their noses to it. That said, she always finishes off her dinner so it isn't the dog food that she is fussing about -- I think she just doesn't like breakfast! :-)UPDATE: I gave up adding this to her breakfast - she was having no part of it. A few weeks later I started adding it to her dinner (which is a blend of kibble and canned - which she loves) just so I could use it up, since it was pricey. She was fine with that and finished the bag. However, she did not gain even one pound after finishing off the entire bag. Won't be buying it again. Dropped it to 3 stars.

First time ordering this product and I wanted to write a good review bc I have tried almost..ALMOST (lol) everything under the sun. I mean literally every dollar I get basically goes to things for the many animals I've got either staying with me temp/at this point prob forever. I work from home and right now times are hard so I really paid attention more so than usual to their weight gain progress-will do some before and afters later. I got this initially for two of my pups, Bella a stray pit whose been staying with me waiting for her "forever home/person" and this dog came to me w marks in her neck, was used to likely breed and fight, scarring all over her, severely underweight/hw pos etc. She def eats but was recently more so losing alot of weight so I decided to order this and honestly I started to notice the diff within a few days! Which honestly I was like kinda shocked about bc other things such as Dyne etc in the past have helped a tad but this powder along with a liquid and ive added a high cal chew plus salmon oil to her meals and she is like a new dog. She looks and acts happier and healthier and I am definitely goign to order again.I tried on two other dogs of mine as well after seeing Bellas progress(she needed the most and wanted to gauge how much it would be/she needed etc first but both Apollo and Jess who were just a little underweight gained HEALTHY weight with just this powder added to their meal as directed in less than two weeks. I bought this product in hopes that my dog would gain some weight. I got her when she was 7 years old and skinny as can be. This powder made her want to eat more food and she has already gained 10 pounds in not even a months time. It gives her more energy and overall just a happier healthier dog. Great product and well worth the money
