Really, the title says it all. There's not much else you want from a set of drill bits.

As a professional building contractor, I use my drill bits a lot. Although I have used many brands of bits, and some are better than others, nothing compares to these bits as far as sharpness, longevity, and being able to handle abuse. They are more expensive than other bits on the market but worth the investment as far as I'm concerned.

This set is 30 bucks cheaper than I paid at the big box store, but I paid the extra for what was essentially said store's recommendation. These were the best they carried for plastics-steel, and though I'd consider cobalt for steel and harder, it would be due to the fact that I want to ensure they stay pretty for my light-duty stuff.So far having only used them on an aluminum motorcycle carburetor, they self-tapped and centered perfectly with no desire to walk away on me. Already made my Dewalts look like crap. I paired 'em with a light-weight hair clipper blade oil (to serve as a cutting lube, its what I had on hand and it worked).Due to sharpness of the tips I was able to keep the speed low and easily control depth, which was a big deal when I was drilling out a metal plug that covered an adjusting screw. Was nerve-racking waiting for the bit to deviate like I'm accustomed to, but pleasantly surprised when it didn't. I was successfully able to up the bit size three times till the plug was nothing but shavings, and the hole didnt lose center thanks to consistent sizing of the bit tips.Impressed enough so as to come on here and put up a review for a product bought elsewhere. After shopping bits online and seeing all the cheap fake brands with several thousand reviews I'm hoping this will guide a few of you towards a superior product.They're made in America too.

These are very good drill bits, quite a bit better than anything you find in the box stores.
