Assassin's Creed Syndicate Official Strategy Guide: Standard Edition

I've had collector's guide since last 4 games, they've all came with dust cover, but sadly this time it seems they forgot one. the hardcover is nothing impressive. i was hoping to get a cool dust cover as well.The guide itself is well put as the previous AC guides, comes with a cool poster with map on the one side and the twins on the other.

Received this yesterday and all in all, It's an ok book, very detailed and has everything you need to complete the game at 100%, however a lot of the pictures are blurry and very badly taken. For a collections item, the book needed to be perfect in all aspects, which it is not.Further more, This book needs to be sold as a basic guide, defiantly not a collectors item due to it not being an high quality product..Might be better to get the information online... Cheaper and at least you can see the pictures.

I have to admit that I am disappointed with this edition of the "Deluxe" Guide, no dust cover, matt finish hard back that marks very easily but the biggest issue I have is definitely the low quality of paper used in the book. I know I normally get the book to "collect them" than to spoil that game as to me, playing the game is just that, not a case of spending another 20 quid to just run through and get every achievement that seems pointless, but by the byGenerally a pretty low quality outing, I have all the guides since A.C. 3 and they have been high quality and stunning all round, and welcome additions to the book case but this is just a let down. The writing, the walk through and artwork are the normal high standard, the map/poster is good (if you can deal with posters with creases in that is, but that's hardly a detriment to the product). As for the stickers .. ? I mean, what demographic are these guys going for here ? pointless if you've reached puberty in my book, and the missus wont let me adorn the fridge with Jacob and Evie, they just seem a pointless gimmick :(. I give it 2 stars because a 1 star indicated I hate it and the subject is the only redeeming factor of this, I don't hate it, just severely disappointed :(Not sure on the correlation between Piggyback and Prima but as all the previous deluxe guides have been produced by PiggyBack and the first poor quality one and its been produced by Prima it does seem to say a bit about their work eh ? :S

Arrived on time, bubble wrapped in envelope ...... book is new (and was shrink wrapped) but had a few scratches and scrapes, presumably from sitting on a shelf somewhere.The book is a hardback but has a black cover, not the (rather more attractive) white cover shown in the listing.My son seems happy with the content. He has not played Syndicate, and probably won't - but, as an avid gamer, he tells me its a great 'coffee table' book for him to browse through.

Overall, a very good guidebook. Would give 4.5 stars.Reason for 4.5 stars: piggyback has better paper thickness.Also, couldn't fine where to look for where the upgrade schematics are (or I might not be looking hard enough).Definitely recommend for any AC fan, even if you don't play the game. Well worth a collection.

Excellent book.As a part time gamer,who just gets enough time to go on my ps4 to relax & wind down,there is nothing worse than being stuck somewhere and being able to move on.This book just for a quick solution is excellent.To pay full price and to use it fully on the game is a waste,but for help,this cannot be beaten.
