I am no pillow expert but I want to offer my honest review. I decided to purchase this after a friend encouraged me to try a water pillow. I haven't been sleeping well and would wake up with a sore neck. I picked this product because of the free two-day shipping. I never owned a water pillow but I have to admit that I expected it to arrive with water in the pillow :). I didn't realize I had to fill it myself but that was easy--so no complaint. I've now owned this pillow for more than one week. I haven't had a good sleep in a long time. I don't wake up with any sore neck. I've order many times through Amazon (gotta love the Prime). However, this is my very first review on Amazon. That's how impressed I am with this pillow.

So far so good. Its not a miracle cure for my sore neck, but it is helping a bit. It is heavy though, no pillow fighting with this thing. It could kill a person!

The minute I opened the package and read the instructions for filling the pillow with water I knew this wasn't going to work. For the medium softness of the pillow, I had to pour around 80 cups of water into it. When you are doing that, the pillow needed to be standing upright in a chair. After you have the amount of water you want in it, then you are supposed to (with the pillow still in the chair in an upright position and push the water down with your hands to get all the air pockets out of the water because the water isn't supposed to splash around inside the pillow. Well, I did it for over 30 minutes and the water was still splashing around. You are supposed to continue to do this over and over until it not splashing. I have multiple sclerosis and thought this pillow would be good for me. It may have if I had the strength to get it to its point of being able to use.

I was so skeptical about this. My fiance found this for me and I was so desperate for relief, I was willing to try anything. Every single morning I would wake up with a massive headache caused by tension in my neck on the side that I sleep on. I tried so many different types of pillows but nothing was helping. I'm so glad I have this pillow. I will admit it's a little weird to get used to at first. But I mean it when I say I have not woke up with neck pain since the first night I slept on this. I could cry! I don't think I can ever go back to a regular pillow ever again.

I think that I have tried almost every type of pillow with no success. The neck aches, headaches, and shoulder aches were from bad to nightmare depending on which pillow I tried. I bought this pillow because of the reviews. OH MY GAWD it's amazing. I love it. You have to experiment with the amount of water that is good for you. It took me 3 tries (the 3rd time is a charm) before I found the correct amount. I can see now why people like this pillow. Excellent quality.

The quality seemed ok. My husband and I filled it, and filled it...with at least 3 - 4 gallons of water. Of course all at bedtime. I tried it, thought it needed a little less but decided to wait til morning. In the morning I pulled the plug for just a little but it got away on me. Just like that..in seconds it was empty. That made up my mind, we didn't need a potential water disaster on our latex mattress. Returned it immediately. Think hard before purchasing. My sister got one and raved about it. I don't doubt the comfort, but the stress of moving it to change the sheets alone is challenging.

Not as good as Mediflow but decently comparable.

it is a good pillow. but it is large. So, it requires a lot of water and therefore it is heavy. My last pillow was much smaller and lighter.
