Colors are bright and vivid, and the yarn is soft and easy to work. I wish they sold variety packs with bigger balls of yarn.

I do several projects

I bought this for crocheting leaves. They are small skeins. I could only get 4 leaves out of one skein. It is nicely colored selection and I love that it is all cotton. Wish they would offer larger quantities of single colors instead of lots of colors I didn't need. Would buy again.

The only negative I give this is because of the yarn color choice: I would prefer a spring green and a darker yellow be added to the choice. The pale blue is just a bit too pale, and you have to squint to see that it's blue. So, not as medium a blue as is shown in the photo. Also, I feel the aqua and other aqua are too close to being the same to warrant having both.These came on time, and this is awesome quality yarn to work with! I'm using it to crochet different types of gnomes, so will probably go through all these colors! I LOVE the feel and the way the yarn is made. Being a mercerized cotton, I don''t get yarn splits as often as with other yarns.

This yarn was absolutely wonderful to work with. It didn't split and is very soft. The yarn glides through your fingers making it so easy to work it. It also has a sheen that makes your projects look so beautiful.

The colors are lovely and the value is decent, but the texture is much rougher than other mercerized cottons and it splits super easily. Won’t be using it for the amigurumi dolls I make, but maybe for their clothing...

But they do not put the yarn names on the wrapper so if you want to order more of a particular color...good luck.

I love the colors of this yarn and wanted this to work so badly! Unfortunately, this yarn splits and is unworkable for my needs. I was trying to explain why splitting is a problem to my husband and I told him that one I pull the yarn from the skein, it's seems like the strands were not even twisted together. Nice colors and feel but I can't deal with the splitting.

I learned how to crochet about a week ago, so I'm no yarn expert. Thought this was a great beginners set for me as it came with many assorted colours, and not that inexpensive for the amount you get. I made some amigurumis with them using a 2.0mm hook, and think this yarn is great for this purpose. I personally love the feel and look of the yarn. It's on the stiffer side on a finished project, so if you want a soft/plush feeling yarn this isn't the product you're looking for. If you need parts that need good structure, I'd recommend using this yarn. The finish is a little shiny/has a very slight sheen to it. There are issues with this yarn splitting quite easily so if you're planning on purchasing this yarn, be patient with it and I'm sure your projects will turn out great!

1) As others have said, the yarn balls are small. However the description clearly identifies them at 25g balls, so there is no trickery here. This size of yarn ball is perfect for small projects where you need lots of colours, but less quantity of each colour. 2) Most retailers don't carry DK weight cotton yarn, and if they do they are expensive, so this is a good deal. 3) The yarn is a bit splitty, but works fine if you use the correct size of hook (where the yarn isn't falling off the hook) and work carefully. Would buy again.

Beautiful colours and good quality yarn. I’m using it for crocheting projects so the many colours are perfect for designs. The mercerized cotton has an almost shiny effect.

J'adore les produits de la Mia, mais malheureusement le "gauge" des fils, donc leur épaisseur, est mal indiqué dans leurs lots pour petits projets (j'utilise pour faire des amigurumis) et en commandant ce lot-ci, je n'ai pas reçu du fil de la même épaisseur que ma commande précédente, ce qui m'empêche de faire mes projets.
