HCO Solar Power Supply with 1700mAh Built-in Battery

So far so good, my trail camera has been out for a.month so far and the batteries are still fully charged.

not happy not worth the money

Bought this for use with my HCO Uway MB500 for which it was recommended.It produces 5v dc. Camera requires 6v dc.Did not work as camera company recommended. Otherwise great product for solar powered usb devices.

Solar charger works slowly on most devices, but does work. Less than ideal solution for the Covert Ops Code Black camera...must receive good sunlight all day to keep rechargeable batteries even half charded. If it's cloudy or there's foilage, just can't charge. I was really disappointed in it in that capacity. Bought it for the cam, but ended up just using it for cell phones. Like I said, charges them slowly but better than nothing in a pinch.

Nothing special it just works. Had this in the woods (only a couple hours of sun a day) for two weeks and it didn't use the batteries in the camera at all. I don't care for the mount that came with this unit. In its current configuration you are supposed to use a drill and screws. This would be fine on a fence post but I hunt a lot of public land and other peoples properties so I would never screw this into someone else's tree. I overcame this with zip ties. This also came with the wrong cord for my camera. I think it was noted in the description i just didn't pay attention. It should be noted that this does not charge the batteries in your HCO camera. The camera will draw power from whatever source has the most power.

This comes with a usb to pin type charger. Does not fit my 500mb. They should show a picture of the other end of the connector so it would be easy to tell it won't fit the standard 9v/6/v input that is most common. Now I have to find a usb/6v adapter.
