My husband and I are in our mid 70's and have a 4 bedroom house on a main highway and surrounded by farmland. We also have 14 pet parrots that create a lot of dust. We also had my elderly mother living with us for 10 years, so there wasn't much time for dusting. So, over time, there was an accumulation of dust that we couldn't keep up with. Since we lost my mother, I have been deep cleaning rooms little by little, and bought a few of the Swiffer duster products to help with maintenance. These dusters don't do very well for an accumulation of dust, but they do help tremendously to keep everything dusted once a deep cleaning has been done. Even so, you must keep in mind that this duster is good only for light dusting as it doesn't hold a lot of dust. If you try to do too much with it, it will move the dust around instead of picking it up. I bought this set because it includes the short handle which can be used for either this 180 duster or the 360 duster. Using the Swiffer duster is so much easier than using a dust rag that moves the dust around. This particular duster is great for getting under electronics and getting around knick-knacks and figures. I also have the 360 heavy duty duster, but this one works better for smaller spaces and a quick dusting of a few rooms. UPDATE 5/13/23: I have been using this 180 Swiffer duster and the 360 Swiffer duster for about 6 week, and have found that I prefer the 360 duster when going over a few rooms since it holds much more dust. I still like the 180 duster for smaller jobs, but it doesn't hold anywhere near as much dust as the 360 duster before it starts just pushing the dust around. One good thing about the Swiffer dusters is that both the regular duster refill and the 360 duster refill fits all of the handles. So, once you buy the sets that include the handles of different lengths, you can buy only the refills of your choice that will fit all the handles. Personally, I prefer the 360 duster refill for larger dusting jobs since it holds more dusts and lasts longer before it just spreads the dust. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Swifter dusters work really well with picking up dust . They are thick enough when dusting so they pick up a lot of dust

Face it: Dusting isn't hard. But it's enough of a drag that I avoid it. Feather dusters are stupid - just sending the dust into the air to resettle. Cloths sometimes don't pick up much, leaving streaks and ridges of left-over dust. Or else you have to spray the cloth with a dust magnet, adding a step. The Swiffer Duster really does pick up All The Dust. It snakes easily around and between objects, so you don't have to pick everything up. It holds onto the dust until you're ready to toss the duster. The front of the duster does most of the work, so you can just turn it around on the handle to have an almost-new area to pick up more dust. If you want, you can knock off some of the dust into a waste basket and go at it again, or you can just slip a new pad onto the handle. I unpacked the thing and flitted around my home, dusting like an idiot, because it was so easy and effective. Stupidly useful. Edit: But of course, there's a fly in the ointment. It's part of the Throw-Away Culture. I'm sure this fluffy substance is some form of plastic, so it will eventually wind up in the environment as tiny fibers and other forms of microplaslic pollution. Dang.

Catches all the dust particles from all sorts of surfaces. Reusable, multipurpose, have been using for over two years and very satisfied.

For so long I have struggled to remove cat hair and dust with rags, cloths, paper towels, etc. (the list does not end). I tried this on my dark brown desk (I usually work from home), and suddenly the heavens opened, angels sang and rejoiced, and cat hair stopped going up my nose. I mean, what other endorsement do you need? I'm not being paid by the folks at Swiffer - I'm pretty underwhelmed by their floor-cleaning gallery of products. But holy cow, if you have cats and/or dust, this is money SO WELL spent. That was a lot of typing so I'm going to have a little nap now.
