No Fuss Set-Up and Very Versatile
I'll start by saying that I did have a little trouble with the manual not being the updated version for the version I received. The service from Levo was prompt, courteous and engaging, not at all the cookie-cutter experience I am used to. The base on this product is very heavy. I can manage on my own, but others might have some issues flipping and move it. That's just a warning. The base needs to be heavy in order to keep the whole thing from tipping. So I selected this specific desk for use with a recliner. There were a lot of options out there but many relied on a certain clearance under the recliner itself or had a table that may or may not allow for much movement of the recliner or offer adjustments. This was not only easy to put together, easier than what the original model looks to offer, but it adjust very easily as well. It fits my work laptop just fine, my large gaming laptop, not so much, and of course the tables and MS Surface work fine. To be clear, this was not meant for my gaming laptop, so that was not a requirement or expectation. It was just there so I tried. The use of it and then sort of pushing it to the side, out of the way is easy. The strap and the button plastic "feet" hold the laptop easily. I've had no issues with slippage or concerns of falling. Yes, I've bumped the thing while rocking, not super hard, but it's not so unbalanced that it just fell. It didn't fall thankfully. Generally this a great option that can be used for standing, sitting or lying in bed. Versatility is one the reasons for picking it! I'd get it again or suggest it to someone who was looking for same, not intrusive and flexible offering.

Works great with my "back" chair!
I thought that this was a little expensive but based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I am so happy with it. I have been using it for several weeks now. Here are a couple of thoughts. The assembly was very straightforward. It is very sturdy. It is very adjustable. I am able to adopt a variety of positions in my back chair, from upright to almost completely flat, and use the stand with my laptop. The laptop stand is awesome as it adjusts in multiple planes to keep the laptop level. It also has tabs on the front to prevent the computer from sliding off the table. I did have to contact customer service for a replacement bolt and they sent one out immediately. Overall, I am very impressed and happy with my purchase.

Excellent. Almost...
The device assembled easily, and fulfills function. My concerns are probably due to my personal expectations. 1.My laptop is an older Latitude. heavy as it is the stand supports it with no wobble until I start working. The weight of my typing or mouse use causes the base to tip up. Not disastrous, as the tray rests on the arm of my chair, but distracting. 2. the mouse pad has a very smooth surface, and the rim is not tall enough to keep the mouse from racing off onto the floor. I know, picky complaints, but when you're so close to excellence... Yes I do recommend it. I use it every day, and it's a pleasure to swing the arm around and get out of my recliner without juggling my laptop.

Do Yourself A Favor: Get This One!
I’ve been looking for something like this for over a year, but all of the options seemed obviously flawed to me, too cheap and flimsy, too immobile, questionable structural components, etc. On a slightly separate note I ended up turning to this company, Levo, for an e-reader and tablet holder a couple of months ago, and was thrilled with the results. On that basis I made the leap and bout this laptop/reading/tablet tray, and I’m glad I did. As it happens I’m writing this review on my laptop, on the Levo stand. First things first, the quality of the construction is very high; parts fit without a bit of effort, the various components are all excellent. The packaging for both of the Levo products I’ve gotten both met an extremely high standard, and the instructions in both cases were trivially easy to follow. They have a number to call if you need help with anything, but I never had a reason to use it. The arms of the stand are all powder-coated aluminum, and they’re light as well as sturdy. The base is a SERIOUSLY heavy beast on locking casters, which is what you need for something like this! With a heavy base, even resting my hands on the keyboard, I never feel like there’s a sense of instability. After less than 10 minutes I had my working laptop stand and no complaints. The mobility of the tray portion is outstanding, and you really can use this every which way. The flip-up tabs at the bottom do the job of keeping the laptop from slipping, as well as the little elastic straps you can use to further secure it. Adjustments are easy to make, in terms of height (two simple paddles lock and unlock the two-stage height adjustment), tilt of the tray (a single knob does that), and even the tension on the swing-arms is easily adjustable with a quarter. The result is that for different uses, you can have a super-stable platform, or one that can be readily adjusted to any angle. For me, this has helped a lot with keeping me from using my laptop on my actual lap, and it looks good doing it. If you found yourself here looking for something to hold your laptop, and you’re not sure because some other models are a little less expensive… just get this one. Yes, it’s a bit more than some others, but it is also MASSIVELY more reliable and useful.

great, high quality laptop stand...
This deluxe adjustable rolling laptop stand is thoughtfully designed and well made. It is easy to assemble & made of high quality parts. This design allows you to more easily be closer to your laptop from your chair or in bed vs. other models. It is sturdy and stable and easy to move around to other rooms. It is such a great product that I ordered a second one for my husband. We will be using these for a long time !

Good, Not Great
I am 5'1 and often I can't find products that work with my height even when I'm not standing. I was (am) looking for something I can use for my laptop but also when I'm coloring or doing other creative stuff on the couch. - I have tried padded lap-desks, but haven't found any big enough that have a tilt option so ergonomics aren't there. - I have tried portable standing/lap "desks"/bed-tables that do tilt and have height-adjustable legs, but none of them go low enough to be comfortable over my lap. - I have tried those height-adjustable bed-tables all over social media right now, but the bases never fit under my (reclining) couch and they also don't go low enough to be comfortable over my lap. This laptop stand is kind of there, but not quite. Here are some pros and cons I've noticed, based on my needs: - Pro: The height adjusts to a pretty low position, which is nice for low seats and shorter folks. - Pro: The little arms to hold the laptop are fully adjustable so they work with any size computer and don't get in your way, and can be folded down when you don't need them. - Pro/Con: The elastic string that holds the laptop in place for steeper angles works well, but I found it annoying to use and difficult to place my 16-inch Macbook Pro into without almost dropping it several times. Other solutions I've tried had tops that were covered with a fake leather that kept the laptop from sliding down, and it'd be great to have that for times when I don't want to use the string. I understand the solid plastic makes the tray easy to clean and longer lasting though, so I get why the added material wouldn't be ideal for Levo to use. - Con: The mouse tray has parts underneath it that get in the way when it's lap-height. - Con: I hate the counter-weight. Frankly I didn't plan to use it, so I purchased a nice 25-lb rucking weight that had a hole in the center and planned to use that like another commenter here used a round weight plate. The new version of this laptop stand doesn't allow that option but it would have been so much better for me. The counter weight knocks into anything in the surrounding area and doesn't allow the laptop stand to truly get as close as needed. They should have just made this with a weighted base to lessen the bulkiness of it. - I wish the laptop arm was more like a monitor arm. Instead, it's a straight bar. This means that even if I can manage to get the laptop stand close enough to the seat I'm in, and low enough to use in my short-person lap, I can only use it from the front or maybe in an armless chair. I wanted to love this and I was excited to find it and purchase it despite the price, but it feels like it was designed within a box and without enough thought.

Lifesaver!!
I have chronic neck pain and this keeps my laptop screen where ever I need to put it. Easy to push and pull and adjust. It’s pretty durable and I’ve even used it for other things like a second hand when putting together a four post bed!
