Size range from about 3mm to 5mm diameter. Very uniform in color. I used them in a resin bangle and it looks great. If you use them in resin, they will float, so use one pour to 'set' them, and another pour to finish. The cavity will make some bubbles appear, but I was able to live with that. You could fill the cavity with resin and let it harden,and that would solve both problems if you're more patient that I was.

I got these because I had these small vials that I used to keep bath salts in. I decided to use the salt and reuse the bottles for something else. A friend of mine suggested the "Ocean in a Bottle" craft and I looked it up. It was perfect, but I was missing the shells I would need! Then I saw this item! The price was perfect, the amount was MORE than enough, and the shells arrived pretty intact! I couldn't have been happier! I still have a TON of them left, but since so many of my friends liked them, I started making them as little gifts!I would recommend this to anyone needing very tiny shells. These were no bigger than roughly 3 mm and served my purpose, but if you have need of shells for a bigger project, you might want a bigger size. I used 2-5 ml bottles and these fit perfectly inside. I will buy this again once I run out, but the count really seems to match the expected amount so it will be a while!

These are very small shells but all in perfect shape and so pretty. I used them in a candle centerpiece on top of sand surrounding a candle. Really pretty!

The shells where small and you get a lot in the container. I wanted them for making sand jars for my nieces and nephews from my vacations, because I forgot to get shells on vacation. They where great! And the colors where nice. Not all of them are colored so it was a little pop of color in the jars.

These worked perfectly for a school project for my daughter . She used them to make a beach in a bottle to sell on market day. They are very tiny but that was fine fir what she was using them for. Good quality.

This has a much better quality and variety of shells than other similar products on Amazon. I had a lot of fun pouring this out and finding lots of different types of shells to use for my project. Also a beautiful variety of patterns and various natural colors. Definitely recommend!

I was trying to find shells for my hermit crabs in my saltwater aquarium to grow into and these were not a good size. The opening of the shell was too small compared to the length of the shell.Great for decorations or crafts.

I bought these to put in ornaments for Christmas presents for my loved ones that live near beaches. I was very happy with the quality and glad that none of them came broken. They'd also be a good filler for small vases. A great deal.
