NEAT....STURDY....GREATDoes exactly WHAT it is supposed to do. I have large frame revolvers in it as well as compact semi-auto's.... Have a Thumb Rest Stock Ruger that will fit....but it sits a bit higher. NOT an issue. These are about 11" wide so you can put two, side by side and store in most gun safes. I actually moved UP the top shelf just to have more clearance for bulky items below (we use it for items OTHER than firearms). Easy to retrieve and find.WOULD recommend adding a magnetic LED light (on the back of the front wall of the safe, above the door....or you can purchase one here that is for closets and is motion activated. The simple magnetic with a push button worked well for me.Recommended this to other friends. The OTHERS have limitations. Go to the Website and look at it. Really well made.

I'm using two of these to store my pistols and revolvers on the top shelf of an inexpensive Sentinel gun cabinet. End to end they are too wide for the shelf, but the design of the stabilizing "feet", [for lack of a better word], permits them to overlap one another creating slots for seven handguns on the shelf. I have trigger locks on all my firearms and the guns fit fine in the slots with the locks installed. They stand quite stable, but I may in the future anchor them to the shelf itself, but it's not a necessity to do so.

A good solution both semi-auto and revolvers. I even have a larger N Frame and an X Frame on this and works well. Just ensure you have ample room in front to safely rest your barrel.

When shelf spacing is a factor, the rack's low profile design allows you to also store your weapon "trigger up"if need be. This suits my need perfectly.

I was not entirely satisfied with this purchase because of a few of things: 1st - The rungs to hold the pistols are really close together and it can cause your guns to sway over and bang into one another. 2nd - If you have any longer, heavy pistols (like my Taurus .44 magnum revolver and my Ruger Mark IV Hunter) they want to "flop" forward since it doesn't have a barrel stabilizer bar to keep that from happening. (My revolver fell forward and tumbled down through the slot on my safe's shelf and wound up dinging one of my rifles in the lower part of the safe...GRRRR! But I solved that by putting in a solid plate of plastic to cover the barrel slot in the safe.) 3rd - The "feet" are terrible because one faces forward and one backward. This can cause the shifting weight of your pistols to make it fall over. Solved this by anchoring the legs to the safe with a bracket.

Real easy pistol holder. Able to put the heavier pistols on the rack. You could put 8 but I don't like the barrel to be touching the surface.
