This is excellent quality saffron, which means a little goes a long way! If course there is cheaper stuff around, but that is tasteless. Those who say this is too expensive, please don't forget that saffron is the most precious spice in the world.Also note: even though the picture shows saffron strands, this is ground saffron, as the description says.

Very small amount in package, too expensive and the packages were damp when arrived, not happy, I was in too minds to send it back.
