Sheeba Rubbing Compound Scratch Remover (200 ml)

I used the rubbing compound on a scooter (Honda Aviator - White) I had purchased recently. As it was a second hand vehicle, there were numerous scratches all over it. Being white in colour, the vehicle did not look appealing at all. I had a few scratches years ago on my Swift and was looking for a solution. I had read on Team BHP site that using any scratch remover is useless and best is to use rubbing compound. I bought a small bottle from a local shop (costed me less than Rs 200 at that time) and applied it. The scratches disappeared! Since then I was a big fan. Coming back to my Aviator, I used the Sheeba Rubbing Compound which I purchased through Amazon (couldn't find it in the local shops). Within an hour there was a complete transformation - the scooter looks as good as new with most scratches not at all visible. There were a few (3 in number) deep scratches where the paint had worn off and those can be corrected only with a proper paint job. Sheeba Chemicals also supplied a nice sponge which allowed me to apply the rubbing compound on the vehicle - thanks very much for that too! Alas, I didn't take any before-after pics to show you! Maybe when the bike is due for another round in 6 months I will take the snaps and post them here. All in all - please don't go for any of the scratch removers. The rubbing compound does its job and is not expensive either.

I will be specific. I tried in both dark and light color. First I tried on the body of my fridge. It is black shiny metallic color. I did a patch test on the body... Well, some of the scratches were gone... but, it left a permanent haze on the area. I tried putting wax, but did not solve... I agree to some of the reviews that after rubbing, it does bring back shine, but haziness does not go, it makes a permanent mark... SO NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DARK BODY COLORS. However, I still went ahead with my Silver Metallic color car body scratches... My new Car had several scratches from the Cat's nail... There are several cats and often then jump and rest on my Car. There were other scratches too... So I tried this Rubbing Compound as a patch test in the inside door area... surprisingly, it did work to some extent! The scratches faded... I had tried with another rubbing compound purchased from a Petrol Pump, but remained until I used Sheeba's. May be it puts a haze on my paint, but as I said, it does shine as well. So most of the scratches on my car was gone... Another good point I found, it brings back the dull looking fiber/plastic body panels of the car to dark finish. It does remove the haze from those dull looking plastics... I RECOMMEND: If you have a silver paint car (or may be white will also work - Not very sure though), you can buy this product and surely you will not repent for your purchase! BUT NEVER USE IT ON DARK BODY COLORS!

Scratch remover sold to me is not removing scratches, it is removing paint form car body, it has spoilt my car color too. Please take back the product and refund the money.

Product doesn't work as shown in picture. I advised please don't purchase it.

product is suitable for all colors specially black, white, red, blue, brown color cars except metallic paint and ceramic coated cars. I used this product for my old car on all sides,I just uploaded picture of one of the sides for my review after usage. I Will strongly recommend this product. It definitely works, only if used correctly as mentioned in the instructions. Product comes with a small piece of sponge which is sufficient for minor scratches. I bought a sponge (20rs) which i used for my car on all sides as the company provided sponge was not enough for me. Obviously fingers catch the color and can be washed with soap. Use, use and throw gloves for your convenience. How it works:- Apply and rub in circular motions till you scratches disappear, the more you rub the faster the scratches disappear if not sufficient take more compound. Stop rubbing after scratches are gone. After applying watch the applied surface from a side view to see the evenness of the applied compound. If applied excess, remove with a soft cloth smoothly. Let the car dry for whole day and do not use any water or cloth on the car. I also recommend not to wash car or not to use any cloth for one or two days for perfect results. Note: product doesn't work for deep scratches. I hope my review is helpful
