These pen clips look great and the leather actually feels really good quality. The metal clip itself is insanely strong…like, strong enough that it stays exactly where I put it… but also strong enough that it’s already leaving little scratches and dents on my thick Panda Planner cover over time. Not the end of the world, but definitely something to keep in mind if you’re picky about your planner staying cute. My favorite pens have a grippy section, so they don’t slide in and out smoothly, but honestly that’s just the reality with this style of loop. Any similar holder would probably fight me the same way. I was surprised the pack didn’t come with 2 black and 2 brown instead of the odd mix, but I assume that choice was made to allow for a choice of the metal finish/aesthetic. All that said, I absolutely LOVE finally having MY pen attached to MY planner at all times. Saves me from the daily “who took MY pen??” household interrogations.
