This type of adjustable squat rack is actually pretty decent if you keep expectations realistic. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and fits well in smaller spaces — good if you’re building a simple home gym. The height and width adjustment is the biggest plus. You can tweak it for squats, bench press, or different exercises without much hassle. And for lighter to moderate weights, it feels stable enough. That said, it’s definitely more of a beginner setup. Once you start going heavier, you’ll notice it’s not as rock-solid as a full power rack. Some people also mention it can feel a bit shaky depending on how it’s set up.

Against my better judgement, I purchased this rack hoping it was what it seemed. It is not. I am 5' 8" and in its highest position, I do not feel I could safely use this as a "squat rack". The opening to position yourself under the bar is very shallow. As far as using it for bench press, it is very questionable. At the lowest height, the red brackets are a few inches from my neck. While tightening the nuts and bolts supplied with the rack, even before they were "snug", the metal started to bend. I had to use my own bolts and make modifications to be able to use this as a somewhat decent bench press rack. IF I use this it will be temporarily and with caution until I can find a better rack in terms of size and quality. Save your money, don't buy this.

Its very sturdy, so far hasnt budged under 300 pounds, I'm comfortable with staying at this weight, and it also feels secure! Its not too large, which makes it easy to keep in my room and use every now and then!

Picture over sells the piece of equipment. Only someone under 5 foot tall can get under it. My fault thinking this was going to work. Don't waste your money
