Good points: These are very well made. The screws are precisely manufactured. The plastic is solid and does not bend. They work with Timber Tech decking. The screws have a star sharped head for very positive grip by the T-15 drill bit provided by the seller, a nice touch. The screws are long enough to go deeply into the underlying wood members and solidly anchor the decking in place. The holes in the plastic tie downs for the screws are threaded in part which does a good job of keeping the screws in place once started by hand and waiting to be screwed down permenantly via the drill bit. Weak point: Not a knock on the product, but the seller claims these come "with 2 specific Torx screwdriver bits", but there was only one in the box of fasteners I received. So one star deducted. A very good buy. Bad points: None. An excellent product in all respects.

Good hidden fasteners for decking. I added on to the deck I have out off the back of my house and wasn't thrilled about purchasing more of these from the big box store. They are way overpriced when buying from those stores, in my opinion. This set of 100 was plenty to complete the small addition to the deck and were priced as I would expect for what you receive. The package came quickly and as I thought it would. It included the fasteners and screws. These are strong and durable. Some of the fasteners I purchased when building the original part of the deck last spring (bought from a big box store) failed over this last winter. I am happy to say none of the fasteners that came with this pack have failed over the winter, even if they were not installed for as long as the fasteners on the original part of the deck. The original fasteners were on the deck for 3 more months than these were on the addition. I was able to use a few of this pack to replace the fasteners that failed on the original part of the deck! They were simple to install and came with the screws for mounting. I am happy with this purchase and would buy them again if I needed them.

I added this set of hidden deck fasteners to my handyman kit for use on a future deck repair, and my first impression is that they are made well. The material feels sturdy, and the included screws and Torx bit look appropriate for typical composite or wood installations. Although I have not used them on a project yet, the design appears straightforward and should give a clean surface without exposed fasteners. I handle a range of DIY repair work, so having hardware that is compatible with common decking boards is important to me. These seem durable enough to hold up once installed, and the uniform sizing helps with planning out spacing. The pack includes enough pieces for small to moderate tasks, which makes it practical to keep on hand. I also appreciate that everything is stored together so it is ready when the occasion arises, rather than hunting for separate bits and screws. The fasteners have no sharp flashing or poorly cut edges, which gives me confidence they will install smoothly. Based on handling them and inspecting the pieces, I expect they will provide a neat, hidden finish once I put them to use. For anyone tackling a decking repair or extension, this kit looks like a simple and reliable option.

These are strong fasteners, and do the job. Deck boards installed with this fasterner are straight and snug. But they are harder to use than the more expensive Fiberon Phantom fasterners I used for most of my deck. How is that? The screw in this fasterner has been inserted at the factory, but it's not in the right position. It has to be backed out, put in position, then screwed in. But the screw slips. It will drop back into the wrong position while you're trying to put it into place. It's not a deal-breaker for a small job. It probably took at extra 10 minutes for a hour job of installing 50 or so fasterners. My project was small: adding a few feet of walkway to my existing deck. If it had been a larger job, it would have become a real PITA. I'm glad I declined to order a much larger quantity. I'll use Fiberon (about twice the price) next time I expand my deck. A Fiberon fasterner is on the right, and installs more easily.

I ordered these to redo my deck which was done badly (extra supports added AFTER it sagged, without removing the sagging areas, insufficient clips at the joints so they are popping up). These do work well. The plastic seems a little light, but they are doing well for now. I can't testify whether they will hold up. They look great when installed.

These deck fasteners look great and seem very well made. I had started my deck before getting these so am having to remove boards to make sure it all looks uniform when finished. So I have not put them in yet. They are good value and I’d get them again for any project laying down boards
