Will this work on (white) hard arkansas stones?

Except for diamond stone,this Diamond Flattening Stone could work on all other material stone,including (white) hard arkansas stones.Thanks

Can this be used to lap or flatten a set of Venev diamond stones from Gritomatic?

Grab a silicone carbide flattening stone. One of those big 10x4" ones with the 2 different grits. I just flattened my venev stones and believe it or not the finer side which was 320 worked incredible. Way faster than the coarser side and even faster than the extra coarse dmt that I used but probably shouldn't have. Trust me..a 320 grit or so sic flattening stone. It worked 5 times faster than anything else. And I thought my venev stones were too warped but it made quick work and got them mint.

What type of diamonds are used Monocrystalline or Polycrystalline, and how are they attached using adhesives or moulded into steel?

Reviews say it's held together with magnets. Do the plates hold shavings/swarf, or do they actually get clean when washed? Thanks.

Hi, the magnets are press-fit into the black plastic frame. You need to pop the diamond plates from the plastic frame when washing. You will then need to let the metal plates dry thoroughly before attaching back to the frame. Yes, I find that metal swarf does get attached to the magnets when I am washing the plastic frame. You will need to remove this swarf before reattaching the diamond plates for use - or else the plates will not lie flat. I actually made a flat metal thick plate to which I use double face tape to hold the thin diamond plates flat. Be sure to remove any plating globs from the back of the plates so that the diamond surface will lie flat. Sometimes I use the thin plates without any support....as if a pc of sandpaper.
