the mad hatter tea party costume is made to an excellent standard and fits well, the hat could have been a little larger but a cut in the back will rectify this. the material is a rich textured velvetine camel colour and looks very smart. the waist coat is stitched to the coat and looks smart, the shirt in lay fits well and fitted with a larger than life multi bow tie. i have added pieces to this costume and it looks very professional. well worth the money i paid for such a costume of great quality and superb service and delivery

Decent costume for the money, had a entertaining night with it but not sure how many uses it would last for given the quality. That said, it looked good and did the job.

Great costume. Got lots of compliments. You need tissue paper to pack out the hat though. The tops a bit flimsy.

It's ok, but the sizing was way out, I only have a 17" neck but the collar would go round my waist ! had to cut and sew the collar myself.Also, the hat was a very tight fit so I had to adjust that too by cutting it at the back and hiding the join with the hatband. However, it served it's purpose but wouldn't win any prizes !

This was so cheaply made, that the waistcoat and shirt elements were actually sewn to the wrong parts of the jacket, meaning the waistcoat button holes were sewn over by the shirt element making the whole thing unwearable, the hair in the hat consisted of a few strands each side (not as pictured in the ad) for this price I was not expecting much, but I was at least expecting it to resemble the listing

I bought this for a Mad Hatter costume, but it could be used as a generic period costume or steampunk garb - and it looked loads better than the hatter specific costumes too for the price. Jacket is made of a nice quality patterned material, waistcoat and shirt are sewn in. The hat and fitted wig is not that great - too small for me but perfect for kids fancy dress, but I knew that before I bought it based on the other reviews and had already sourced another, but at the price I paid it's a bargain for the jacket alone.

Great costume when it arrived and looks fantastic!! My other half had it on for 30 mins and both sides of the coat, as well as the back seam, fell a part! We thought it was maybe a sizing issue (it fit but he had driven with it fastened) however we got to our destination and not only had a button fallen off, but the seam on the hat had ripped (which was on the back seat).Great for putting on and looking at, rubbish quality of you want something you can wear.
