Bug Zapper,Mosquito Killer Lamp,Electronic Insect Killer,mosquito trap,Eliminates Most Flying Pests,Night Lamp!Killing Mosquitoes(Green)

I'm currently experiencing a gnat problem from apparently tainted potting soil I used. I put this one on an extension cord and rested it in the pot the tree is in. I bought a couple of other zappers of this nature last year for mosquitos that came in the house and had great luck with them. Consistently has new gnats and/or mosquitos in it. My last favorite brand was not available so I tried these a bit afraid of the fact they were cheaper. Now the plug is a bit loose in the socket and I almost gave one star less, but with a little jiggle, the lights get bright. It is doing just as well, if not better of a job than the more expensive one. With summer around the corner, I am putting a few more of these in my house. Photo is one day after cleaning it. Like I said, I have a huge gnat problem and this is part of my solution to solve it without chemicals.

While I had this plugged in, I received about a dozen mosquito bites on both my underarms, one elbow, and one leg mostly from a solitary opportunistic mosquito in two or three nights of fitful sleep. Some of the bite welts were huge and itchy of course. During the 5 days or so I tried this, I didn't see a single fly or mosquito fly toward it and there were never any insect carcasses laying in it or nearby; I tried it at two different locations inside my condo. I actually caught the opportunistic mosquito with my bare hands two nights previous, and I have not been bitten since. This is the second mosquito zapper I've tried from Amazon, and I can definitely say the glowing reviews are bogus. I'm returning this piece of junk.

Not sure it works ( either that, maybe there are no bugs in my house). I’ve been using the device as a night lite and have not noticed any dead bugs since I got it a couple of months ago.)

After a week the zapper didn't zap a thing. It was nothing like the great reviews you read here.

Excellent for keeping the bugs away. Highly recommended. When turned on it's bright and could possible act like a night light.

Complete waste of money.

This is a total waste of money. Had it for 3 weeks and not a single, fly, gnat, or mosquito has come close to it. Even moved it as close as possible to flies and they seemed to almost mock it.Don't buy! Don't buy! Don't buy!
