This tool has saved me countless hours. I used two of these and a lazer that shoots lines . I snap lines on the floor and set one lazer on each end then I use a lazer that shoots lines . I line the dots up with the line and set lights , refrigeration coils, line sets, and conduits.

Perfect for wood framing. Sits on plates well.
