Not all ice makers make clear ice, even if you use filtered water. The Luma IM200SS creates clear ice cubes by freezing water in layers. Restaurant ice is clear because restaurants and bar owners use specialized ice making equipment that freezes ice from the inside out, rather than the outside in, like you do at home.

It don't keep the ice frozen ... Melts over time.. don't waste your money on this one...

The cubes come out in sheets. The cubes are small, maybe 3/4" cubed

What is the warranty on this unit?

Perry, Luma Comfort, the manufacturer, indicates on their website they warranty for one year for "materials or workmanship", that is for reasons other than wear, misuse or abuse by the purchaser. They will replace with a new item or one of equal or greater value. They aren't clear on this point but they likely pay shipping return as they specify you keep the receipt and the original box and shipping materials.
