Discovery Channel - A Day at the Farm - 3D View-Master Reels with Sounds

We bought these for our kids and neither of us were impressed. A complete waste of money and we would not buy again.

I don't know what the other reviewer was doing, but we own many of these reels with the learning facts and they are excellent. We own the projector and the kids(1 and 3) love to have slide night in their room with a piece of oaktag and the bunkbed with curtains around it. It focuses great from 4-6 ft away(abut a 1.5 ft picture then), is very bright, clear and loud. EACH SLIDE HAS 2 FACTS AND THE ANIMAL NOISE. If she had read the directions, there are different settings (depends on attention span of your child-looking at the same slide)To hear the additional facts you press a specific button while viewing the slide, otherwise it only goes through 1 fact or sound, then to the next slide. We own at least 4 sets(of 3 slides each), there are only 3 slides total that are a bit darker. Buy these! My kids love them, they are educational, the projector is very durable and the batteries last a long time. My 2.5 yr old is learning to identify all the new animals and I've learned a few additional facts even I didn't know and we watch the nature shows all the time! They are worth the money.

i love this reel set! it's highly educational and informative. my son loves it and we watch it before going to bed.oh, just so you know, the discovery reels also works with the other super sound projector. :-)

The pictures for this particular one were very dark and hard to distinguish what you were looking at. The whole product is disappointing because it only makes one quick little sound or says a few words per slide - not in any way telling a story.
