Ryka Influence is my favorite shoe ever!
The Ryka Influence shoe fits like it was made for me personally! Amazing shoes! I have a medium width foot, wider at across at the little toe joint and narrow at heal. I also have high arch. I have these shoes in every color I can get my hands on in case Ryka phases out the style since the thick sole look is currently trending. The best thing about RYKA’s are in the details. The tell you the heal to toe rise. They have sole types based on your activity. They are made specifically for women. The Influence model has a low heel rise of 8 mm so my foot is not thrown forward. It has a circular area or pivot point on the sole under the big toe. Didn’t realize how useful that was until I had to do 3 months of PT. This model is marketing for use with activities like aerobics and Zumba but I wear my RYKA’s all the time. I first saw them when taking my husband for medical treatments at the hospital and a lot of nurses were wearing them several years ago. The first two pair I ordered, I ordered in my usual size 8. The fit was exactly spot on and allowed for thin footies or socks. I only wore them to the gym at that time. Three years later, I found I needed to go up to a thicker cushioned sock and the shoes felt a little tight at the toe so I purchased 8.5 size. Perfect!!! I now live in these shoes. I damaged both knees in a recent fall and these shoes help keep me aligned so I can wear them all day without pain or discomfort. I wear them to the gym and PT with no problem and they’ve held up very well. Admittedly, I don’t do hardcore activities in them but I am hard on shoes. I wish I’d had sense enough to wear them while I was still teaching! Ryka has a wide variety of styles, both lace up and slip on. I highly recommend the brand and so glad they have a store on Amazon now!!

Great shoe!
These shoes are excellent for weight training, cardio, and walking. They are very comfortable and they were true to size. I will certainly purchase another pair.

Solid shoe for strength and endurance training.
I wear a size 10 cd (wide) in most shoes. I workout every day, using light weights (12-35lb) to do a variety of HIIT, strength & endurance, and plyometrics exercises. I have now worn them for three workouts and find that they are a solid shoe. Support and fit: They are a bit high around the ankle for me, so they push back on me during side lunches, but that's okay. They don't slip off the back of my heels during planks and pushups or even during plank jacks and mountain climbers. I find them true to a size 10 wide. I feel no pressure left to right or top to bottom. Performance and Cushioning: For turning and pivoting moves like samurai twists or curtsy lunges, I find them to be solid and it's easy to hold my balance in them. For plyos, like burpees, jumping jacks, and jumping rope, where you are mostly in the ball of the foot, the cushion in the ball of the foot is solid. No complaints. For leg workouts, like squats, squat jumps, single lunges, and deadlifts, I wish there was more of an arch and more cushion in the heel. (Hence, the four star review.) For lunges and calf raises where you move from flat foot to your toes and back again, I find the shoe nicely flexible. Overall, this is a solid shoe for my workouts. It has good support and decent cushioning.

Awesome fit
These are my second pair of Ryka Influence cross trainers. These shoes fit true to size, are roomy in the toe box, hug the heel & have good support. The black/blue color is very nice. I use them for Zumba & my feet feel happy in them.

Perfect shoes for cardio that requires lateral movement
My wife started taking Zumba and other cardio classes at our gym and initially was using her running shoes. Running shoes are great for going in a straight line or around a track but don’t work if you need lateral movement. She hurt her knee while trying to move to the right in her running shoes. Her instructor recommended Ryka shoes. She chose the color and the size ordered fit her perfectly with no slipping or heel tightness and have been comfortable to wear with no foot or ankle issues. After the first class using the new shoes she told me how they were much better than her other ones. A couple of the other women in her class commented that they really liked the way they looked. Besides Zumba she uses them for cardio sculpt and HIIT classes and the workouts are better by using these specialized yet versatile shoes. She liked them so much I just ordered another pair in a different color on Prime Day.

Very Short Length - Otherwise, Great Shoes
I will admit to being a total fitness novice - due to a back injury, I've been very sedentary for almost 20 years. I decided I've got to start doing something, so I've started walking and exercising to some videos (PiYo and zumba). After a lot of searching, these are the shoes I chose. I'm impressed with how comfortable they are - I really like them. That said, they run short. I am pretty consistent size-wise, even across different brands. The toe box in these is short and uncomfortable. I had originally gotten them just to work out in the house, but when I needed shoes to go for a walk, I grabbed these. MISTAKE! After only a few yards I figured out that these were short. They feel great everywhere else, but when shoes are pinching your toes, little else matters. I should mention I struggle with ingrown toe nails on both big toes - getting pedicures and making sure there is plenty of room in the toe area of my shoes has kept those painful ingrown nails at bay. I also battle neuropathy - which is not aggravated by these shoes (except that toe area). Now the ingrown nails are back, loudly professing their presence. I can't wear any of my shoes without pushing on those obnoxious ingrown areas, so I just dread wearing all shoes right now. Bottom Line: I like the shoes. I like the style and the colors. I appreciate how they feel nice and cool, like your feet are getting good ventilation. I also like that the weave is tight enough to keep my feet pretty dry when I (unexpectedly) walk through snow piles. Decent arch support. The only problem I have with these shoes is that they are short. Which is a big problem. I purchased size 11 and they fit more like a 10. I wish I would have gotten a 12, I feel the extra size would have been just enough to vastly improve the comfort level. Their comfort is about a 9/10, but that short length brings my rating to a 4/10. Ordering a size up will most likely result in purchasing one of the most comfortable pair of workout shoes you've gotten in a long time. Make the mistake of ordering your usual size and you'll undoubtedly have issues with length - especially if that's an issue you struggle with already. These are so nice looking and comfortable in the rest of the shoe that I'm bummed I can't wear them. Plenty of wiggle room width-wise in the toes...just way too short.

Lightweight but supportive
These were intended for exercise classes. They are supportive and lightweight. I have 2 other Ryka shoes that are used mostly for walking. These are perfect for what I need!

Comfortable and good for Zumba
BOught these shoes for Zumba based on online reviews. It is good for that and easy for turning and supporting the foot. Not as strong a side wall if you are wanting to use for any type of weight training or exercises where you are doing side lunges as your foot slides more to the side. Comfortable for walking and on feet a lot.

Great trainers for Zumba
I have wide feet and normally always have to size up to get the width in all kinds of shoes if there are no wide fitting available. I read the reviews about the wrong sizes being sent due to UK/USA sizing and was wary about ordering due to the costs of returning if the wrong size arrived. However, I went ahead and ordered a 5.5 wide fitting, and that’s exactly what turned up. They fit amazing. Lightweight, colourful, comfortable and with a pivot spot perfect for Zumba. Shipping was really fast too.

Select one size small than your usual size!
The rubber sole does seem cheaper than other sneakers BUT omg!!! Nope…. So much better than other sneakers. My feet feel perfect, so light any airy!! I bought these months ago and I spend on average 300 mins per week at the sports club and they are still like new! So please produce more because you now have a new loyal customer.
