Not sure if it’s easier than waxing...when all is said and done.
It’s really hard to say if this is “better” or “worse” than wax. At first thought, you’d certainly think this was “easier.” But it’s really not. There’s a ton of prep work you have to do...just like waxing. And the chore of spraying and removing is almost as difficult as waxing with a buffer. I’d have to say that waxing probably lasts a bit longer...therefore, I won’t be buying this, again.

Does everything they say!
The product looks spectacular when I have the time to hand wash my car and still looks good and beads water when I just have time to go through a spray car wash!.

Doing a trial before a solid review
I used this on my 2018 Honda CR-V (Molten Lava Pearl). The Rewind did a very good job of removing the wax that came from the detail done by the dealership. The application of the Recharge was easy; spray some on wipe it on evenly and then buff it with a clean microfiber cloth. Personally, I found the reflection of the paintwork to look brighter and it got a slick feel. I did not test it yet to see how it handles water but after a few runs I will do a rinse off and see how the dust and water is repelled. This is when I will try the silica soap as well and a second application of Recharge. In my opinion, this may not last long like a true ceramic coating but as a quick detail it may be the answer you are looking for. I applied this to the paintwork (of course) and the windows (work small areas but move fast). I did not use any on the plastic parts yet. 5 stars for the Rewind and ease of application at this point. I will update this in about a fortnight.Update-12/21/18: After a month with lots of dust and no rain, the recharge product is satisfactory and comparable to a quality instant detail spray in my opinion. When washing, water will bead and some will roll off but not all and yes, there will be watermarks when those beads dry. Do not expect a miracle that all the water will sheet off and one pass with a microfiber cloth is all you need. However, the slickness is there and makes washing easier and you can use this on black trim/glass/chrome etc. to help aid in keeping it looking good making the product a bit more versatile in that sense. The soap is good...I cannot complain and the rewind really works well to remove oils etc. I would advise after each wash to use this product since, it is not hard to apply to good paintwork (smooth, contaminate free etc.), requires less time than waxing and will be a good solution to an everyday driven vehicle and a cheaper alternative to a true ceramic coating. Truth be told, after this product is used up I will return to my Chemical Guys products for simply the price point.Update-12/22/18: It rained so here are pics showing the beading effect, the state of the trim and the spots that will form.

Great ceramic coat
The Hydro silex recipe is very good at giving your car what it promises. I do have an issue with the sprayer nozzle as it came loose multiple times and or leaked and I lost almost half of my ceramic coat bottle. For the price there are other options that are ceramic coats out there and they are cheaper. That is the only reason I am docking this is star
