I bought this last minute for a trip to Maui. It arrived on time. Fit well in the suitcase without taking up too much room.It worked perfectly for the beach. There was a day when it was really windy, the tent stayed up, although one side came down, but it came back up easily. It protected us from the sun well and sand from blowing onto us. A little tricky to collapse, but I think that's more human error. So glad we purchased this. I even recommended to my friends!

Pros1) Super easy to pop open and set up, no poles to worry about and can be set up by one person2) Cheap3) Comes with stakes to hold down in the wind4) Has little pockets in the outside corner- my guess is to put a rock or something heavy in when you can't use the stakes5) Good sun coverage and ventilation on the sides, and the front mat extends about a foot out to help keep sand out6) Super lightweight and easy to carry/pack/storeCons1) Quality is as expected for price, cheap nylon material and thin metal. This isn't made to last but depending on use I can get a few years out of it.2) Folding it back up was confusing and took a few times with reading the instructions to get it right3) If you fold it back up wrong you can bend the sides and it won't pop up anymore so don't screw up4) The side vents let through sun, depending on the time of day you may lose some shaded area

Horrible tent. Went to the beach and it was a bit windy the tent didn’t hold up at all. It’s kept falling to one side and folding back down, it was also very hard to put back in bag. Worst purchase.

Sets up and folds down in just a few seconds. Lightweight with a nice carry bag.

Very easy to set up. Very difficult to fold away. The directions are not clear.

The tent popped up great but everything fell apart trying to put it in the bag and this was a trial run because I thought it was too good to be true. If you plan on putting it back in the carry bag good luck! If split apart.

I haven't used it at the beach yet...but opened it up and it seems big and roomy. After watching a tutorial video on youtube for take down, it got pretty easy to fold. Would recommend trying it a few times before taking it out to the beach/park to make sure you can take it down. It is light weight and easy to pack. I will be bringing it on a trip to Hawaii...will update later to see how it holds up!

WIsh the beach tent had larger instructions on the tote bag and an accompanying video. The pictures are so small on the bag that it is impossible to see which way to turn at the most critical part. I basically ruined it because I had to search youtube videos for closing instructions while at the beach which weren't for the same exact style tent and that caused my tent to be folded incorrectly. It never pops up the same now. I watched the video several times as well as trying to decifer the miniature picture instructions on the bag before closing the bag. It is a great size and I love the vents. make sure to fill the bags with sand in addition to using the stakes because the stakes alone will not hold it up.
