Exactly what I was looking for. The quality of the item is great. I did not want a cheap Chinese product, so I was willing to pay the price for a high quality item. I also did not want a full mechanical clock, as they lose or gain time, so what is the point in having a clock. Anyways, the bird comes out and cuckoos the hour then a music plays. A great addition to the living space, and the best way to be warned for the passing of time. The clock is right on time, I have been checking it with my phone's clock and they are always agree. The pendelum swings, giving it a stylish touch. The clock is a battery powered quartz mechanism, just what I needed, as I will definetely forget to wind a mechanical version regularly. The clock is made of real wood, and the details on it are very nice with detailed painting as well. You can silence the bird during night time (it has a light sensor). I highly recommend it if you are looking for a cuckoo clock.

Its adorable and a I was so excited to get it. However, like others have said, instructions would be really nice (there are a few but nothing about how to put the hands on) SO I figured out how to put it together but cannot get the time to stay accurate. I think its because the hour hand doesn't go around properly (the minutes go around pretty well but the hour hand only sometimes follows) I am still trying various things to try to make it work and will send it back if nothing works. Also it cuckoos on 5 minutes after the hour but I did figure out how to get the right amount of cuckoos after a lot of trial and error.

The cuckoo clock is charming and well made. It also has a very melodious tone.Very pleased with my purchase.

Arrived early and well packaged. Box itself makes a nice present display. Easy to hang and make sure the pendulum swung well. Cuckoo is adorable, and all the decorations are beautifully done. Nice range of music to perk up my day.

After we tried to rest the clock for daylight savings time, the chimes and times have never linked up again. Not the best purchase.

I LOVE my cuckoo clock. I have had it for a few months now, and it has proven not only to look fantastic, but it works wonderfully. It keeps great time and I love the fact that it does not make noise at night. Great clock, love it!

I bought this clock as a Birthday present for my husband. To start, there are no instructions. The hands were not attached and the battery sled inside was dangling loose with broken off wood thus not allowing free movement of the pendulum. Also, the COA sticker on the back was half off. Very poor workmanship for such an expensive clock. The guy making this one was clearly out to lunch. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

We bought a coockoo clock in Germany many years ago and it finally stopped working. My wife looked for a replacement both on-line and at local clock stores for weeks. This clock is exactly what we wanted and my wife reports that she is "thoroughly delighted with it". A great feature is that is turns off all sounds at night.
