This is the 2nd charger I've had to buy after the OEM one for my MSI GE72 got chewed by a dog and the first replacement I got was a piece of crap.The funny thing is, this charger is the same as the first replacement charger I bought except for one thing - no 90 degree charging port that you insert into the laptop. If you're looking for a replacement charger, I would highly recommend avoiding any with a 90 degree charging insert because the solder connections and wiring break loose very quickly and easily inside those. If you buy with a 90 degree input, you'll find yourself having to put pressure in a very specific directly on the charging input or it won't work.Now that I've bought this adapter with a straight input, I've had no problems the the last couple months. The charger always works, and that's all that matters. The output cable from the AC to DC converter could be a foot longer to be ideal, but it's not enough of a problem for me to deduct a star.Also of note, there are several units like this on Amazon that have the same blocky AC to DC converter. Many off these are overpriced. The only worthwhile differences are the length of the output cable built in, whether they have a straight or 90 degree input, and how long the AC input plug is. Find the one that has the cable lengths you need, but again avoid any with a 90 degree input.

Only lasted slightly over a month. I wanted to return it as a defective product. Unfortunately they have a "no return" policy. A lot of these cheaper chargers do not last long at all. I am still looking for a more long term reliable replacement charger.EDIT: After posting this review, I was contacted by someone in customer service who promptly gave me a refund so I am raising them to three stars. However, my comment about the quality of the charger still stands. I also find it a little sketchy that I was only contacted about a refund after posting the review and was also asked to take the review down.

Update: The seller contacted me after I wrote my review and sent me a new one. I've used it for about 2 hours now and it's working fine. I'll update again if this one fails.Worked for about 10 hours then wouldn't charge the laptop. Checked the voltage and was only outputting 17v. Not enough to charge an MSI ge72 Apache pro

If you have a GE62-6QF Apache Pro or similar MSI, this is not the adapter for you.. it works and charges ok, but when gaming it doesn't supply enough power and CPU and GPU will compensate by drawing from the battery.. now I know this is a feature with this model.. but being it requires a 150w. Using this 120w will drain your battery quick.. not to mention get VERY hot.

After having the charger for less than a month, it's already broken.Edit:After making this review I was sent a replacement for free! Thanks a lot

This seems to work well with my MSI GE60. It came with a 3-pin plug US power cable so if you use a non-US plug power cable like me, remember to detach and keep it and not throw away with the old charger.

It does what the product is supposed to. Satisfied

Works with MSI gs60 ghost. Wish chord was slightly longer, but that's okay.
