What is the correct fit? Should there be space all around the nipple or not?

As with regular flanges, your nipples shouldn't rub against the flange while in use. If there is some skin rubbing against the flange it should be very minimal. No skin should be left behind inside the flange. What ever size you use with normal flanges tells you what size you should use with the pumpin' pals. If you use a size under 25/26mm you should use the small, if you use 25/25 standard medium and any size larger than the standard 25/25 should use the large shield.

What size of Medela flange do these fit in to? The 24mm flange or the 27mm? I want to order the one with best fit.

When you order pumpin pals. I believe you get all 3 sizes. I did & I use them all. Although the 27 mm is more comfortable!

I think I need a small(21mm) Medela shield does this set have one that size?

Hi, do these work with the Spectra S2? I saw someone say that you can use Medela parts with the Spectra- can someone explain how?

You can use the Maymom adaptor to connect your S1/S2 backflow protector to the Medela PersonalFit Connector. Then the Pumpin Pals fit perfectly into that. This way you can pump into Medela bottles, which are known to be better quality, while having the comfort of the Pumpin Pals and the amazing suction of the S1/S2! Plus it remains a closed system, as you are still using the backflow protectors, so you don't have to worry about getting milk in the tubes. I did hours of research, and personally concluded this combo would be my best chance for a successful breastfeeding experience, as I could have a hospital grade strength pump that's affordable to buy (!!!)(intended for 1 user), the comfort of Pumpin Pals, and the quality, durability and reliability of Medela bottles.
