Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Scripts: A Collection of Over 100 Hypnosis and Therapy Scripts Paperback – January 14, 2011

Going through the hypnosis books available on Amazon requires some patience.There are way too many poorly written tiny books that have zero value and teach nothing about any aspect of hypnosis.Dan Jones does the opposite.His books are well written, have significant content, provide great value and are outstanding for learning more about hypnosis.Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Scripts: A Collection of Over 100 Hypnosis and Therapy Scripts is nothing short of excellent. For me, it has been a great jumping off point to leverage his 15 years of experience to help me brain storm, structure and create my own.By way of disclaimer, I don't know Dan Jones and am not a shill for him in any way. I'm just an enthusiastic fan of an author who is doing great work in this field.

I purhased this book along with another book on Ericksonian Hypnotic patterns written by Richard Bandler ( Neuro- Linguisitic Programming). It is a book that discusses scripts that you can use for hypnotic techique. For the psychologist or pyschology students ( if they have some knowledge and training in hypnosis) it is a informative read - for the average individual is not beside reading and you must have some prior knowledge on both hypnosis and NLP to reap the benefits this book provides.

This book is just what it says it is, a group of hypnotherapy scripts written in the style utilized by Erickson. There is nothing mind-blowing about the scripts. There are quite a few listed in the book. Many are variations of each other. Still, the book was worth the cover price.

Milton Erickson wrote out so many life changing scripts that helped people in the past. I do not want to reinvent the wheel, these script give a lot of idea of what a script is and the possibily of creating my own from my own experiences to help do change work with my friends and clients

Like the way the book is written in a simple format with new ideas on how to work with clients in a step by step format, which are proven techniques. Thank You!

I use portions of these scripts all the time!

Dan Jones' book provides a wide range of scripts which I have found to be very useful in my practice. He has hypnotic inductions, deepeners and priming as well as as set of therapeutic solutions for just about every presenting problem imaginable. Each script is accompanied with an accompanying introduction to explain the reasoning behind it. Even if one decides not to follow what the author has to offer verbatim on every occasion, it is reassuring to have a script available which can, at least, be used as a foundation for one's own. Good clear scripts addressing many issues. Easy to follow and to integrate your clients personal issues. These scripts are great for not only the new therapist but also experienced therapists who want to extend their own scripts or update them with fresh ideas and alternative suggestions to their familiar or well used ones.

Great book for therapists. Or to read to yourself, whilst in a trance state. The contents list is a little awkward but once you get used to it, the words speak for themselves! I would recommend that it wouldn't suit a reader who isn't familiar with Ericksonian hypnosis. Including the pauses after reading the scripts is an important part of a good therapy session and are annotated in the scripts.

Downloaded these and wishing that I had brought the book instead, a kindle version is not the same for this type of product.Oh well shall know next time. The scripts themselves are great.

This book is a very valuable piece of work and I am using it my therapies with great success and enjoyment

a very useful book especially in my work ( Professional Hypnotherapist ) full of good scripts and useful tips on the ericksonian style inducements, a must for all therapists professional or just in training, definitely worth the money.

Seldom used it. Not user friendly in my opinion.

So disappointed with this book. Boring and monotonous.

Great work from the master,I am inspired by the workings within this book and it has taught me a lot about using embedded commands and metaphor,which I can now incorporate into my work with my clients.
