Do these come with cables? If not, what type are recommended?

Thanks very much for your question. The Klipsch RP-5000F do not include speaker cables. We recommend a high strand count oxygen free copper conductor. We carry AudioQuest and SVS speaker cables available in pre terminated lengths, with banana plugs or gold lugs. Use 16 gauge or thicker wires. I have the rp 500c and i’m looking to upgrade my front polk lsi400 towers to these. i’m assuming the rp5000f would pair better than the rp6000f? thank

Thanks for your question. Either the RP-5000F or RP-6000F would pair very well with the RP-500C center channel. The front main speakers are the most important in your system. The 6000 will have better bass and midbass and will be well worth the additional cost. It will also blend better with a Klipsch subwoofer when you decide to upgrade again. Can connect with denon 1700 av receiver?

These will work with any traditional receiver. They accept banana plugs or traditional speaker wire. I use them with my Sony receiver and they work fantastically
