My favorite cat has a favorite color, pink. Everything I buy for her has to be pink. Even when my veterinarian gives her an IV, he wraps her arm in pink bandages. So of course her collars are always pink!Her old one was looking kind of drab, so I bought this one. I generally go for a softer, more pastel look, but decided on hot pink this time. It's great! My baby and I are both very happy with it.One thing to note is that it doesn't have pre-punched holes for the buckle to slip into; you just push the tip through anywhere in the collar, which means you can size it more precisely than collars with pre-made holes.Although this collar doesn't have a safety breakaway feature, it doesn't need it. It stretches, so if your cat should get caught on something, they should be able to easily get out of the collar.Its bell is a nice touch, and the color is very cheerful; it feels high quality. We love it!

I bought one of these for each of my six cats. My girlfriend had bought each of them metal name tags and these collars were able to hold them; the breakaway collars could not. I bought these as they had the flexibility to slide off similar to a breakaway collar, which I had used previously.While the price is low these will not last long if your cat likes to scratch at their collars. Within three months several of the collars were quite worn with loose threads. I had a similar issue with other fabric based collars but these collars did not hold up. On the cats that did not scratch at them they did still look pretty goof after three months.I have since switched to leather collars (and given up the flexibility option of these and breakaway collars) but they are holding up much better.The question you need to ask is whether your cat will scratch at these or not.

I really like this collar because it's completely stretchy and I can adjust it exactly to fit, I'm not limited to fitting it to where the holes are on the collar. The bell is loud enough, yet not obnoxious. My favorite collar so far. I do wish the color were a brighter pink, but my priority is safety. My cat is black and I'm legally blind, so I need to know where she is. I've taught her to come to me, and to follow me, and to not go near doors when they open. So, we do well, however, having a dependable collar with a good bell is not just a decoration in our household, it's a necessity.

Great collar. Simple design. Lots of color choices. Cheap price. Kitty approves!!! Other safety release style cat collars have that very thin black piece of elastic that loops through both ends of the collar connecting it together. I can't count the number of collars that have gone missing - under the bed, in the closet, when the dog played a little too rough, when the black elastic piece broke over time, etc. This entire collar is one long stretchy piece of elastic. No connectors to break. Problem solved. Now if the collar goes missing I know it's because the cat was caught by her neck and pulled her way free. The collar did its job, and a cheap replacement can be on its way if I can't find the one she had to slip out of.

Most cat breakaway collars feel like the car would have to break before the collar, and the ones with a flimsy little piece of elastic degrade just sitting on the shelf (I have indoor cats who only need a collar to go to the vet or when traveling for some other reason). These collars are the right amount of stretchy and sturdy. Love them!

Nice collar. All over stretch in case they get caught on something. Durable, and pretty color. I bought the green. It has a bell, and a loop to hang an ID tag on it. My kitty doesn't go out, and he is microchipped, but this gives him another level of ID in case he did get out. It arrived quickly. I bought the ten inch length for my 9 lb cat.

I really wanted to like this collar. It's nice at first. My cat was not used to collars and keeps scratching it, now it's extremely frayed and looks terrible. It's only been a few weeks. The material is just not strong. And he can sometimes get it off, which goes against the whole point of having it. Unfortunately I'm going to have to buy another collar now. Waste of money.

I use these collars on my little dogs. They're very safe, they can wear their ID tags all the time. If their collar gets hung-up on anything they can easily pull their head out of the collar. For me it's a safety issue, I had a dog that nearly strangled himself when his leather collar got hung-up on a wire fence. I've been using these for the past 25 years.

Nice collar but made of stretchy material, so worried the cat may get out of the collar easily when pulled & stretched.

Works but frayed quickly
