I bought these after starting roller derby. I'm now part of the freshmeat team and feel more comfortable in my own pair of skates. Look good, feel good. Definitely get the wear out of them, even though there is a bit of a price tag. Worth it for quality though. More unisex than males.

Theses boots fit sowell as was out on them for two hours and they did not hurt my feet at all,theylook just like the photo and are made really well.

Bought for husband, he is happy with them, already been out to the rink.

Struggled with these to start with, once I'd changed the cushions, bearings and wheels they are much better. Shame about the toe stop, but over all a good beginning skate.

I like them but i hate the wheels

After one month: the biggest flaw in these skates is the trucks are not one solid piece, rather there is bar running through the truck that the wheels on either side screw onto. So if you tighten one wheel it pulls the wheel on the other side in, tightening that too! this also means that if you knock one side of the skate hard the wheels shift over: loosening one side and tightening the other. The bearings have also totally seized up and some make a grinding clicking sound. Its currently like trying to skate through mud. Also, the toe stop leaves embarrassing black streaks on the skate rink whenever i use it. Some people have mentioned that they are fine after changing the bearings, wheels, and cushions, but after that expense you might as well have paid for a lower end pair of reidells for just short of £100. This also wouldn't solve the loose bar in the truck. Really regretting this purchase.

Versatile quick easy pair of skates

De hecho tenía como 30 años o más que No patinaba..... pero como yo me enseñé en unos similares de varias ruedas, son más Seguros y Estables que los de ruedas en línea. I take a size 9 mens sneaker and dress shoe, so I ordered a size 9 skate. They fit perfectly. I waited to write this review until I was able to actually get on the rink floor and use them. They look and fit good. Only complaint is that when I opened the box, the right skate had an insert, but the left skate was missing the insert. I haven't skated in over 20 years, and these brought me back like it was yesterday. When I was younger, I always got blisters on my left foot from always turning left, so I bought some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts (so I really didn't need the left insert anyway, since I knew I was going to be buying Dr. Scholl's.) The Dr. Scholl's prevented the blisters! I wish I could go back and tell my teenage self about Dr. Scholl's! Anyway, I will also say that these do bite into the front of the ankles a little bit, so before my next trip skating, I will be looking for some way to fix that. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend these. I DID NOT use these for roller derby! I used them for a regular open skate night at Skate-A-Way.

This product is for the advanced ones by default. It lacks grips on bumpy surfaces since the wheels are hard ones. Suggest option to change the wheel to softer ones when you use it on concrete and unstable bumpy surfaces. Apart from that this product is awesome. Customization before buying would help Indian buyers to invest on some recreational stuffs. Understand Indian people before importing anything. Money earned in India must be a hard earned ones in many families who might not ask you for such customize options and all.
